It is very urgent and important problem that educational environment of rural and fishing area, which is inadequate in comparison with educational conditions of urban, is to improve. In this point the integration project of small school is elevated to achieve equal opportunity of education in a part of educational quality in rural and fishing area.
Therefore, the purpose of this study is to observe political problem of small school integration, which is special project in regional educational government office, and propose rational improvement plan. The policy of integration is used to degradation of branch school, and method of integration operating system. To put it concretely, we analysed the policy of integration small school of rural and fishing area in Chung-Nam province.
The sphere of this study content was limited by improvement plan of integration small school in rural and fishing area, and the survey region was limited by school of integration operating system under the Asan-city in Chung-Nam province. Through the research of data and literature it was studied theoretical background about integration of small school in rural and fishing area, and then researched for existing results of integration.
According to process of this study, we arrive at a conclusions for effective execution of integration policy of small school as follows:
1. It is also to discuss throughly what can we return profits by the results of integration policy of small school.
2. When small school maintain keep up and manages, it must be prepared by operating model. If what small school accepts a integration without reserve, it is not a only best method of course of study. It should be considered through planning of small school which can summit course of study.
3. We can say that the most problem of small school is combined class. Therefore, we think that discussion about development of curriculum of combined class needs, or teacher master class-concluding prior induction course and present course.
4. It needs political investigation about utilizing plan of abolished school which is not used yet. For the sake of this, it is to research throughly utilizing planning of abolished school that has relationship between school and community of region.
5. The integration problem of small school in rural and fishing area do not consider simply effectiveness through educational expenses reduction or financial economics. Because small school, after establishment long time age, not only has discharged alumnus but also has been cultural space of resident. It is compound place within affection of people.
And finally, when we promote a integration policy of small school, this study advocates advanced educational adminstration which can be realize effectiveness of it and democratical accommodation of resident mind, instead of standardized policy.
