The purpose of this study was to illustrate the hearing impaired school teachers’ perception toward hearing impaired students with cochlear implant. The qualitative research was designed for this study. Five teachers who were working for school for the deaf were participated for this study. The results of this study were that: (a) the teachers had positive attitudes toward the cochlear implant surgery; (b) the identity of the hearing impaired students was determined by the degree of hearing and speech after cochlear implant surgery; and (c) the teachers had a perception which the cochlear implant and sign language learning were no relation. Therefore this study concluded that the cochlear implant was good device for listening and speech, however the personality factor was not related with the cochlear implant.
