Some students who study in technical high schools show a negative attitude for performing their tasks. They have gone on to their school because of not their aptitude or way but their low school record. In other words, as they are students who have shown a characteristic of evading to perform their tasks from their elementary school to high school, that is the size of that they consist of students who show a negative attitude and low submission rate for performing their tasks.
Hence, he purpose of this study is to research how Computer-based Task Performance Method(below "On-line method") influences on the task performance results in comparison with the task performance results of non-Computer-based Task Performance Method(below "Off-line method").
For this, I have conducted various researches with vacational students by performing tasks with different performance methods and carrying out the questions and interview in order to examine the actual condition of performance of their tasks and their preference, and the results of this study are as follows:
The first, the submission rate of task performance by On-line method is higher than by Off-line method.
The second, evaluation results by task performance On-line method is higher than by Off-line method.
The third, the competence for learning and task performance was improved.
The fourth, students preferred On-line method to Off-line method to perform their tasks.
Also I can expect positive effects through the process of performance and evaluation of task.
The first, through the process of information retrieval for performance of task, a learner can improve his/her the competence for learning and task performance.
The second, by activation a computer, a leaner can improve his/her the competence for practical use of computer.
The third, as it makes a learner perform easily his/her task, the submission of task will be improved.
The forth, if we build new evaluation system which facilitates consideration and processing of data submitted, we will conduct data-processing promptly.
