This study selected a work-life balance and confidence of superiors as independent variables and also workplace happiness as a parameter. Lastly, as a dependent variable, it chose organizational commitment as organizational performance. Therefore, this researcher formulated hypotheses to investigate correlation among them and actually performed research. The finally established hypotheses were verified, and the results are shown below:
First, a work-life balance exerts positive effects on workplace happiness (β=.535, p=.000). This implies that companies maintaining and operating an organization should provide legitimate consideration so that organizational members, employees, can keep a balance between work and family life.
Second, confidence of superiors exerts positive effects on workplace happiness(β=.451, p=.000). Therefore, superiors at a company maintaining and operating an organization should exhibit proper leadership so as to maintain confidential relationship with organizational members, employees. As an additional test, this researcher verified when both a work-life balance and confidence of superiors influence workpalce happiness at the same time, which one influences workplace happiness more, and it has been found that a work-life balance exerts more effects on workplace happiness(β=.424, p=.000).
Third, workpalce happiness indicates positive effects on organizational commitment(β=.518, p=.000). Accordingly, superiors at a company maintaining and operating an organization should support organizational members, employees, to feel happy more often in their organization.
Fourth, according to the results of verifying hypotheses 4 and 5, workplace happiness does play roles as a parameter between a work-life balance and organizational commitment(β=.410, p=.000) and also between confidence of superiors and organizational commitment(β=.374, p=.000). In other words, both a work-life balance and confidence of superiors exert positive effects on organizational commitment, but workplace happiness in an organization can lead to better result in organizational commitment.
