부모애착과 소명의식의 관계 : 미래지향시간관과 진로적응성의 이중매개효과 = The Relationship Between Parental Attachment and Calling: The Double Mediation Effect of Future Time Perspective and Career Adaptability

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 일과 삶에서의 만족을 이끄는 구성개념인 소명의식에 관하여, 소명의식을 예측하는 변인과 기제를 알아보았다. 소명의식을 발견하는 과정에는 사회적인 요인과 심리적인 요인이 작용하였다. 따라서 소명의식을 준거변인으로 설정한 후 부모애착이 소명의식을 예측하는 과정에서 미래지향시간관과 진로적응성의 역할을 탐색했다. 구체적으로 본 연구에서는 (1) 부모애착과 소명의식의 관계, (2) 두 변인 사이에서 미래지향시간관의 매개효과, (3) 두 변인 사이에서 진로적응성의 매개효과, 마지막으로 (4) 미래지향시간관과 진로적응성의 이중매개효과를 확인하기 위해 가설을 수립하였다.
이후에 대학생을 대상으로 온라인을 통한 자기 보고식 설문조사를 진행하였다. 수집된 자료 중 불성실한 응답을 제외한 248명의 응답을 분석에 사용했다. 본 연구의 주요결과를 살펴보면, 부모애착과 소명의식의 관계에서 미래지향시간관과 진로적응성
은 각각 유의한 매개효과를 나타냈다. 미래지향시간관의 부분매개효과를 확인했고, 진로적응성의 완전매개효과를 확인했다. 미래지향시간관과 진로적응성이 순차적으로 간접효과를 보이는지 검증한 결과, 두 변인의 완전이중매개효과가 나타났다.
이러한 결과는 소명의 발견 과정에는 타인과의 관계, 미래에 관한 인식, 진로적응역량이 복합적으로 작용함을 시사한다. 따라서 구직자와 직장인을 대상으로 소명의식을 적용할 때 소명의식 자체에 관한 교육과 훈련보다는 과정 지향적인 접근이 필요하다. 본 연구는 교육 훈련 담당자가 소명의식의 함양을 위한 프로그램을 설계하는 데 있어 사회적 요소와 개인적 역량을 복합적으로 고려할 것을 제안한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated the variables and mechanisms that predict the Calling, which is a constituent concept that leads to satisfaction in work and life. Social and psychological factors were expected to work in the process of discovering Calling. Therefore, after setting the Calling as the reference variable, the role of Future Time Perspective and Career Adaptability was explored in the process of predicting the Calling. Specifically, in this study, a hypothesis was established to confirm (1) the relationship between Parental Attachment and Calling, (2) the mediating effect of Future Time Perspective between the two variables, (3) the mediating effect of Career Adaptability between the two variables, and finally (4) the double mediating effect of Future Time Perspective and Career Adaptability.
After that, a self-report questionnaire was conducted online for undergraduate students. Among the collected data, 248 responses were analyzed, excluding insincere responses. Looking at the main results of this study, Future Time Perspective and Career Adaptability showed significant mediating effects in the relationship between Parental Attachment and Calling, respectively. The partial mediating effect of Future Time Perspective was confirmed, and the complete mediating effect of Career Adaptability was confirmed. And as a result of verifying whether Future Time Perspective and Career Adaptability sequentially showed indirect effects, a complete double-mediated effect of the two variables was found.
By synthesizing these research results, the process of predicting Calling was interpreted, and the implications of this study and suggestions for follow-up studies were described.
These results suggest that relationships with others, perceptions of the future, and career adaptation capabilities work in a combination in the process of discovering calling. Therefore, when applying a sense of calling to job seekers and office workers, a process-oriented approach is needed rather than education and training on the sense of calling itself. This study proposes that education and training personnel consider social factors and personal competencies in combination in designing programs for the cultivation of a sense of calling.
