Since the Korea Post system laid under government and given managerial responsibility set sail on July. 1st. 2000, the service paradigm was changed the common benefit and generality into the entrepreneurial and business benefit.
However, these changes have contained numerous problems. This research is to present that the official and systematic satisfaction degree of the employee occupied with the Korea Post which system was passed a point of a lapse of five years has been surveyed and preference system by the postal employees has been questioned and the desirable business model for postal service has been suggested.
In accordance with the question, the desirable model for the postal service will be suggested on this thesis.
In summery as a result of the research,
Firstly, maintenance of the present system marked below two average point all of the fields. Accordingly the employees prefer reorganization to maintenance of system. for example, public company is 35.9%, agency 34.2%, central government 18.2%.
Secondly, the lower official and systematic satisfaction degree, the higher needs of reorganized system. The systematic satisfaction degree decreases privileged, administrative, technical officials sequently.
However, needs of reorganized system decline administrative 39.2%, technical 26.3%, privileged 14.3%.
Thirdly, long term incumbents who occupied more than 20 years prefer the public company. The proportion in accordance with working term reveals that more than 20 years is 40.3%, less than 10 years 38.4%, between 10 and 20 years 29.2%. Remarkably, the short term employees less than 10 years prefer the public company.
Finally, viewing of the systematic reference, the types of public company marked 35.9% and central government revealed 34.2% similarly. It shows the necessary of investigation in due time for reorganization.
As a result of verification, the reorganization and systematic changes doesn't be promoted without the employee's opinion. All of the reorganization and systematic changes try to find a solution through the communication, agreement, negotiation with the labor unionists, privileged staffs, administrative officials.
