다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study's purpose is aimed to research information need and use behavior of Pusan National University' chemist and to suggest better service of Pusan National University Library as to achieve education and research of high quality of Pusan National University, chemist. This study accomplished as case study and the case choosed for research is Chemist and Library of Pusan National University
The finding resulted in Investigation of information need and use behavior of Pusan National University's Chemist is as followed :
1. For research, they need more analytical and methodic information than special data.
2. For search, they generally depend on journal, CA and monograph.
3. As to obtain of information material, they use information system to access easily.
4. They give up the finding information material easily.
5. Their information use behavior will be changed soon.
6. The student feel more inconvenient than profession in the library use.
The suggestion to develop library service for Pusan National University's chemist is designed as follows :
1. Library should be developed the its collection, specially journal, CA and monograph.
2. Library should be developed Journal Contents Delivery Service and Document Delivery Service.
3. Library should be done its notice and use education.
4. Library should be introduced partial librarian.
5. Library should be developed the environment of library.
