무시험 미용사면허에 따른 미용학개론 수업현황과 개선방안 = A Current State of Classes in Outlines to Cosmetology and Improvement According to Hairstylist`s Licence without Examination

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 미용관련 교육과정에서는 ‘미용학개론’ 수업의 개선방안을 모색하려는 일환으로 무시험 미용사면허 발부에 관한 지정 교과목의 타당성에 따른 교과목 이수규정과 산업현장 직업군에 따른 미용사 직무 문제가 논의되고 있다. 이 연구는 교수자 중심의 수업운영 현황에서 나타나는 수업계획서 및 문제를 분석하고 개선과제 및 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구방법은 문헌분석 연구를 중심으로 하고 학습자의 인식조사를 통해 보완하였다. 문헌연구의 도구는 4년제 17개 대학이 제시하는 ‘미용학개론’ 수업계획서를 준거틀로 제시하였다. 강의교재를 근거로 교수자가 직접 작성한 수업계획서의 교육내용과 중간고사 평가지를 통해 교육목표 달성을 분석한 후 공동강의 표준교재를 제시하였다. 제시된 공동강의 표준교재는 내적 구성요소를 모형화하여 표준 수업계획서 제시와 작성을 위한 정보를 제공하였다. 이와 더불어 현재 대학에서 사용하고 있는 수업계획서의 실태와 학습자 인식(2항목)을 조사하기 위해 17개 대학의 수업계획서 17부를 수합하였다. 선행연구를 통해 설정한 수업계획서 구성요소 준거틀에 따라 각 대학이 제시하는 수업계획서 양식과 교수자가 직접 작성한 수업계획서 구성요소별 내용을 분석하였다. 또한 수업계획서에 대한 학습자의 인식을 조사하기 위해 설문지를 개발하고 그 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 자료 처리는 SPSS 17.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계량, 빈도분석, 교차분석의 통계적 방법으로 분석하였다. ‘미용학개론’ 수업계획서에 대한 분석과 교재 모형개발의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 17개 대학 ‘미용학개론’ 수업계획서 구성요소는 정혜령(2007)이 고안한 10개의 상위영역과 36개의 하위영역인 준거의 틀에 의해 구성영역인 기본정보, 교육활동, 수업 규정을 중심으로 상위 8영역과 하위 24영역으로 표준 수업계획서 분석틀을 제시하였다. 둘째, 교육활동영역에서 교수자가 직접 작성한 명시적 학습목표를 토대로 학습내용을 선택하고 학습방법을 제시하는 평가를 비교하였다. 그 결과 교육목표의 취지와 이해를 구분하지 못하여 학습자 위주의 명확한 수업계획을 드러내지 못하였으며 교수자의 교과 내 지식수준에 따른 체계성 부족의 문제를 야기하였다. 대체로 교수요목은 대부분의 대학에서 주교재로 지정된 <미용학개론>의 개괄적인 단원명을 제시하였다. 중간고사 평가지의 문항은 미용의 개요, 미용 기초이론, 모발학 등 3개의 단원이 주로 서답형, 논술형으로 제시되었다. 선정된 교육목표와 교육내용을 제시하는 교육방법은 수업방법, 주체, 활용기자재를 항목으로 하고 있다. 그러나 세부적 분석결과는 기본적으로 일관성과 무관하게 대학별로 다르게 운영하고 있었다. 넷째, 미용사(일반)의 입문서인 ‘미용학개론’의 내용은 모발관련 교과인 실기과목의 선수과목으로 제시된다. 이는 모발생리, 형태, 미세구조, 성질 등의 개념과 원리가 접목되는 샴푸 및 린스, 두개피관리, 헤어세팅 및 디자인, 헤어컷, 헤어펌, 헤어컬러링(이하 모발관련 교과)에 대한 개론서의 전문적인 형식을 갖춤으로써 내용 비중상 대체 교과목명의 필요성을 규명하였다. 다섯째, 「공중위생관리법」 이・미용관련 교과목 이수규정에 따른 ‘한국미용학회’ 의견 서(2011년 5월 3일) 제출에서 이수교과별로 제시된 교과와는 달리 ‘미용학개론’ 교과목명과 내용규정은 어디에도 제시되어 있지 않다. 따라서 ‘미용학개론’에 대체할 수 있는 공동강의 표준교재(안)는 《모발 미용학의 이해》를 중심으로 내적 구성요소의 모형을 제시하였다. 여섯째, 미용사 및 미용교사 양성을 위한 교과목이라는 특수성이 내용 구성에 적절히 반영된 공동강의 표준교제의 내용을 토대로 표준 수업계획서가 작성되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In the recent beauty-related curriculum, the rules of course completion by the validity of specified subjects on cosmetology license and the jobs of beauty artists by occupational groups in industry are being discussed as part of looking at ways to improve the ‘Introduction to Cosmetology’ course. The purpose of this study is to analyze the syllabus and teaching issues from the status of professor-centered teaching, and develop improvement challenges and implications. To achieve this, it was made up for through a survey of learners' perception based on the literature review and analysis. For the scale of literature review, the ‘Introduction to Cosmetology’ syllabus offered by 17 4-year colleges was come up with as a framework. Based on the course materials, the standard textbook for joint lecture was come up with after an analysis of education goal attainment through the educational contents of syllabus and the evaluation sheets of midterm exam directly written by professor. The offered standard textbook for joint lecture came up with information for the suggestion and writing of standard syllabus through the modelling of internal components. In addition to this, 17 copies of the syllabus in 17 colleges were gathered to survey the status of syllabus at colleges and learners' perception(2 items). It analyzed the syllabus form offered by each college and the syllabus contents directly written by professors depending on the framework of syllabus components established through the precedent study. And it developed a questionnaire and verified its reliability to survey learners' perception of the syllabus. For the analysis of data, descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, and cross-tabulation analysis were conducted by using SPSS 17.0 statistics package program. The analysis of the ‘Introduction to Cosmetology’ syllabus and the result of textbook model development are as follows. First, the components of ‘Introduction to Cosmetology’ syllabus in 17 colleges offered framework for analyzing the standard syllabus to 8 hyper-scopes and 24 sub-scopes on the basic information, educational activities and course rules of component elements by framework of 10 hyper-scopes and 36 sub-scopes designed by Jeong Hye-ryung(2007).
Second, it made a comparative analysis of the evaluation that selects the learning content and suggests the learning method based on the explicit learning objectives directly written by professors in the scope of educational activities. As a result, it didn't show clear teaching plans by failing to separate the object of educational goals from the understanding of them and brought about a dearth of system depending on the level of professors' knowledge in the curriculum. Generally, the teaching curriculum suggested the general unit name of <Introduction to Cosmetology> specified as main textbooks in most colleges. The questions of evaluation sheet for midterm exam were mainly come up with as the constructed response and the essay-typed response in 3 units such as the summary of beauty, the fundamental theory of beauty, and trichology. The educational method, which suggests the selected educational goals and contents, itemizes the teaching method, the subject, and materials for use. But the detailed analysis showed that it was being differently operated regardless of fundamental consistency by college. Third, the contents of ‘Introduction to Cosmetology’, a manual of beauty artists(ordinary people), are suggested as an initiative subject of hair-related curriculum, practice subject. In other words, it determined the need for alternative subject name on the importance of content by having the professional forms of introductory textbooks on shampoo and rinse, scalp hair treatment, hair setting and design, hair cut, hair perm, and hair coloring(the rest is a hair-related curriculum) that combine the concept of hair physiology, shape, microstructure, and character with the principle. Fourth, the subject names and content rules of ‘Introduction to Cosmetology’ were come up with nowhere, unlike subjects suggested by taken subject in submitting a written opinion(May 3, 2011) of the ‘Korean Society of Cosmetology’ depending on the completion rules of beauty-related subjects by the 「Public Health Control Act」. Consequently, standard textbooks(plans) for joint lecture, which can alternate the ‘Introduction to Cosmetology’ suggested the models of internal components based on the 《Understanding of Hair Cosmetology》. Fifth, based on the contents of standard textbooks for joint lecture that properly reflect the specialty of a subject to train beauty artists and beauty teachers in the structure of contents, the standard syllabus was written out.
