창업가적 기업 스핀오프 벤처(Entrepreneurial Corporate Spin-Off Venture)의 선행요인과 창업과정 및 성장단계의 성공요인에 관한 탐색적 연구-이론연구 및 복수 사례연구를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 기술기반 벤처로써 경쟁력이 있는 창업가적 기업 스핀오프 벤처에 관한 이론 및 사례 연구와 정책방안을 제시하는 것이다.
이론연구를 통해 창업가적 기업 스핀오프 벤처의 특성으로는 모기업에서의 격변이나 동요, 좌절 등이 있으며 시장수요 급성장, 체화적 기술, 비지배적 제품디자인, 낮은 진입장벽, 다수의 세분시장, 제한적인 규목의 경제 등이 성공요인으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다.
사례연구로 대전지역에서 코스닥 상장등록 1호 벤처기업인 블루코드테크놀로지를 대상으로 하여 분석하였다. 분석은 주요 창업자와 해당 기업을 모기업으로 하여 설립된 창업가적 기업 스핀오프 벤처 기업들의 창업자, 대표이사와 인터뷰와 관련 자료를 연대기적으로 살펴보는 것으로 하였다. 사례연구 결과, 창업가적 기업 스핀오프 벤처의 창업은 격변이나 사업 중단에 의해 주로 나타나며 시장수요 급성장, 체화적 기술, 뛰어난 연구 및 제품 개발력 등이 성공요인으로 작용하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
정책 방안에 관한 연구에서는 해외에서의 창업가적 기업 스핀오프 벤처에 관련된 정책과 관련 내용을 기반으로 한국 상황에서 필요한 대안으로 인식개선 필요, 모기업의 전향적 접근, 창업가적 기업 스핀오프 벤처 창업에 대한 규제 완화 또는 제거, 관련 정책 강화에 대해 논의하였다.
후반부에 본 연구결과를 기반으로 한 이론적 시사점과 실무적 시사점 그리고 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate antecedent variables and success factors of entrepreneurial corporate spin-off venture as a competitive venture. The methodology used is theoretical and case study. And this study also explores policy alternatives. Based on theoretical study, it is found that the characteristics of entrepreneurial corporative spin-off venture are upheaval, jolt, or frustration in the parent company. Rapid demand growth, skilled human capital, human-embedded technology, non-dominant product design, low entry barrier, multiple market segments and limited economics of scale are identified the key success factors of entrepreneurial corporate spin-off venture.
In order to verify them, a case, Bluecord Technology-the first Kosdaq enlisted venture in Daejeon region, was chosen and analyzed using data from interview of entrepreneur and CEO in the parent company and its spin-off ventures. The findings of the case study are as follows, Firstly, entrepreneurial corporate spin-off ventures often establish when entrepreneur faced managerial upheaval and cancellation or suspension of business project in the parent company.
