This study was a part of basic investigation on the principal method of reducing amount of TSP in a source. As we measured the grindability index by the Hardgrove method, numerical experiment was used to predict the suspended particulates concentration by the Hardgrove grindability index in the model underground space. The results are summarized as follows:
1) The eddy current and circulation were the major effects of the local stagnation of the airflow in model underground space. It was inferred that the inlet air velocity was larger than the supposed velocity of the working face.
2) The suspended particulates concentration analysis by expected value 1.6(H.G.I : 135) showed local stagnation due to eddy current and circulation.
