크로아티아인의 발칸유럽 정착과 중세 왕국의 발전사 연구 = A Study on the Croatian Settlement in the Balkan and the History of Development of the Medieval Kingdom

국문 초록 (Abstract)

중세 시기 수용된 기독교에 대한 신앙심 그리고 중세 왕국 건설 경험과 문화적 발전은 현재까지도 크로아티아인들에게 매우 커다란 의미로 다가오고 있으며, 역사적으로도 독립 국가의 이상을 향한 주요한 원동력이 되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 크로아티아인의 발칸유럽 정착과 기독교 수용 그리고 크로아티아 중세 왕국의 성립과 발전에 대해 각 시기별로 그 특징을 나누어 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 글은 제 2장에서 고대 크로아티아에 대한 역사적 고증 내용과 크로아티아인들의 발칸유럽 정착과정, 그리고 크로아티아가 현재 강력한 가톨릭 국가가 된 배경인 9세기 기독교 수용 과정에 대해서 살펴볼 것이다. 제 3장에서는 11세기부터 15세기까지의 시기를 각 시기별 특징에 따라 나누어 크로아티아 중세시기를 분석하고자 했다. 이에따라 왕국 성립 초기인 11세기는 문언과 문화의 출발로서 중세 크로아티아 왕국의 성립과 발전을 바라보고자 했으며, 12세기부터 13세기까지는 헝가리 아르파드(Arpad) 왕조 하에서 수립된 봉건제도의 성숙 과정을, 14세기는 문화적 융성 시기라는 소주제로 특히 아드리아해의 두브로브니크(Dubrovnik)의 문화적 발전상에 대해 설명하게
될 것이다. 그리고 15세기는 오스만 터키와 베니스 공국간의 전쟁과 혼란의 시기로 규정하고 당시의 시대상을 소개하게 될 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

After Croats settled in the Balkan about 5-6C, South Slav in Croatia has been influenced a lot by the Christian religion and faith(especially Catholic). And, with the experiences of establishing the Croatian Medieval Kingdom
and a cultural development at that time, it have influenced on the nations in Croatia until now. From this point of view, I analyze the Croatian settlement in the Balkan and the reception of Christian religion, and the establishment, development, and crisis, of the Croatian Medieval Kingdom with the focus on the characteristics of the century. In the chapter II, I analyze what is the historical demonstrations about the ancient Croats, and how Croats settled in the Balkan, and what is the meaning of reception of Christian religion. In the chapter III, I study the main social and cultural characteristics of Croatia at the medieval times, especially focusing on from 11C to 15C; 11C - a starting of the literary language and the culture of Croatian Medieval Kingdom; 12C, 13C - a puberty of feudalism under Hungarian Arpad's dynasty; 14C - a cultural prosperity and economic development of the Dubrovnik's duchy; 15C - the time of wars and confusion between Ottoman Turkey and Venice. Finally, in the chapter IV, I summarize how much the reception of Christian religion and the experiences of the independent Medieval Kingdom in South Slav in Croatia had influenced on the nations in Croatia and the meaning of it in the history of Croatia.
