문학치료에서 자기이해의 필요성과 방법 = Need and the Method for Self-Understanding in the Literary Therapy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

문학치료에서는 한 사람이 구성하는 이야기를 변화시킴으로써 자기서사의 변화를 가져오는데 기여하는 것으로 ‘작품서사’를 꼽는다. 작품서사가 치료적 효과를 가지려면 변화시키고자 하는 자기서사와 일부 상동성을 지니면서도 차이를 갖는 것이어야 한다. 자기서사는 작품서사와의 차이를 메우려는 시도를 통해서 변화하게 된다. 이것이 문학치료에서 말하는 치료이다.
이 연구에서는 치료현장에서 자기서사와 작품서사와의 차이를 메우기 위한 시도로써 구체적 방법을 제안한다. 그것은 자기서사와 간극이 존재하는 작품서사에 대한 거부감을 극복하고 자기서사의 변화를 가능하게 하는 과정으로서 ‘자기이해’이다. 이를 위해 2장에서는 기존 문학치료 이론의 자기서사 변화 과정에 대해 언급한 것들을 살펴보고 이러한 논의가 필요한 이유를 문학치료학 내에서 확인해보았다. 그리고 3장에서는 인간의 변화를 연구하는 심리학, 교육학, 철학 등의 논의를 바탕으로 작품서사와 자기서사의 교류과정에서 자기서사의 변화를 매개하는 것이 무엇인지 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 4장에서는 3장에서 논의한 자기서사 변화의 매개가 실제 문학치료 현장에서 어떻게 계획될 수 있는지 그림으로 제시하고 그 과정을 설명하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study suggests the concept of ‘self-understanding’ as a prerequisite in therapy practices. The interaction with epic of literary work is required to lead the change of epic of self. To do so, the study examines the discussion on the process of epic of self change in the existing literary therapy theories, in the second chapter. Moreover, it explores room for further discussion. In the third chapter, the study deduces the idea that the interaction between literature narratives and self-narrative may mediate epic of self change. The argument is based on theories from psychology, pedagogy and philosophy - the subjects which investigating mental changes of human nature. In the fourth chapter, the study explains how the concept of ‘self-understanding’ - a mediation of epic of self change- can be designed and implemented in literary therapy practices. The process will be demonstrated with illustrations and cases.
