체육학술기관 운영 활성화 방안 = An Improvement Strategy on National Sport Science Research Foundation of Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 체육학술기관의 운영 현황과 문제점들을 파악하고 체육학술기관들의 개선 및 활성화 방안을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 본 연구의 내용은 크게 4개 부문으로 구성된다. 첫째, 체육학술기관의 운영 현황 파악이다. 둘째, 체육학술기관의 운영 문제점 분석이다. 셋째, 국내ㆍ외 학술기관 사례분석이다. 넷째, 체육학술기관의 운영 활성화 방안이다. 국내 체육학술기관들(한국체육학회, 15개 분과학회, 기타 학회, 체육관련 대학 연구소)의 운영 현황을 파악하고, 체육학계가 지속적으로 세분화됨으로써 발생되는 역할, 기능, 조직, 사업, 재정 등에 관한 문제점을 분석하고, 대학체육연구소를 대상으로 그 역할과 사업, 예산구조와 그 열악성, 체육과학연구원의 지원관계를 알아보고자 한다. 이를 통하여 한국체육학회의 역할 재조명 및 재정구조 개선, 한국체육학회와 분과학회 관계 재정립, 기타학회의 분과학회로의 진입 가능성 및 대학체육연구소의 자생력 제고 등에 대하여 개선방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 더불어 체육학술기관 활성화 방안은 크게 한국체육학회의 대표성 강화와 분과학회의 모학회로서의 기능 확대, 한국체육학회 및 분과학회의 안정적·지속적 재정확보, 한국체육학회와 분과학회 간 관계 정립방안으로 기술하고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The objectives of the study were to investigate the operating state of physical education providers to identify involved issues and to suggest improvements to their operation. The study is consisted of four contents, Firstly, the operating states of major physical education providers was analyzed, And the role, functions, Secondly, issues involved the operation of physical education providers were analyzed. Thirdly, successful cases of local and abroad academic associations were addressed as a way of providing a boost for the operation of physical education providers. Lastly, the direction toward improving and accelerating the operation of physical education providers was provided based on issues identified through the analysis of the operating state of physical education providers. The objectives of the study were to investigate the operating states of major physical education providers (KAHPERD, its 15 disciplinary divisions, other academic associations and college-based physical education research centers) and identify issues involved in steadily segmented physical education services in terms of role, functions, structure, business elements and financial status. At the same time, the role, business, budget structure and its weakness of college-based physical education research center and the subsidy from Korea Institute of Sport Science were reviewed. Base on the findings, the study is also intended to suggest the improvement in the role of KAHPERD, its financial resources and its relationship with 15 divisions and other academic associations and the viability of college-based physical education research centers. Improvements required for better operation of physical education providers are divided into the increase in representation in KAHPERD and expanded functions of KAHPERD as an umbrella group of disciplinary divisions, stable and steady financial resources to KAHPERD and its disciplinary divisions and the cooperative relationship establishment between KAHPERD and its disciplinary divisions.
