영남지역 토기가마 구조의 변화양상에 대하여

국문 초록 (Abstract)

영남지역의 토기가마를 소성부의 위치, 소성부의 경사형태, 연소부의 위치, 화구부의 적석 유무 등의 기준으로 가마구조의 형식을 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로 가마 구조의 변천과정을 3기로 나누었다.
1기의 가마는 4세기~5세기 초에 걸쳐서 사용되었으며 소위 영남공통양식의 토기를 생산하였다. 가마의 구조적인 특징은 지하식과 반지하식이 혼축되고 가마의 분포는 단독으로 조성된 경우 또는 2~4기가 소규모로 군집되어 있다.
2기의 가마는 5세기대에 걸쳐 신라양식의 토기를 생산하였으며 가마의 구조적인 특징은 일부 지하식이 잔존하지만 대부분 반지하식이 구축되었고 가마의 분포는 1~10기 단위로 군집되어 있으며, 이전에 비해서 어느 정도 대량생산체계를 갖추어 가는 시기로 볼 수 있다.
3기의 가마는 경주와 대구에서 대규모의 유적이 조사되었으며 6세기~7세기 중엽에 걸쳐 사용되었다. 이 시기에는 대규모의 생산체계를 본격적으로 갖추고 다양한 기종의 유물을 대량으로 생산하게 되며 토기가마의 조업이 국가적으로 운영되는 시기이다. 가마의 분포는 수십기의 가마가 군집하고 있으며, 화구의 개폐가 용이한 화구적석요도 이 시기에 대부분 확인된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Considering all the factors, the kiln of the first term was used for 4~5 th century, manufacturing the so - called earthenware of Kimhae, Busan and Haman Type. And the produced remains were used for an underground receptacle of a coffin with a red stone, for the interment of belongings with a corpse of an underground receptacle of a coffin or for the palace. The feature of the kiln lies in the mixed- construction with the basement type and the semi-basement type, and the inclination shape in a plasticfired part can be seen in the kilns in the remains A of Changnyung Yeocho-ri and the Woogeo-ri Remains in case of type ⅱ, and in the East and in the West of Kyungsang Province, the type ⅰhas the inclination of a straight line type. And the distribution of a kiln shows the case of the make-up independently and the grouping of 2~4 kilns on a small scale.
The kiln of the second term was used in the 5th century and made the earthenware in Shilla Style, and the characteristics of the kiln structure remains in a basement type partially but most of them were constructed in a semi-basement type, and as the earthenware platform is being excavated, it can be said the mass production system is fitted out comparing to the first term in some degree.
Most kilns of the third term were examined around Sonkogdong, the Mulcholro Historical Site, Uksoodong of Dagu and Oksandong Historical Site of Kyungsan, and the remains on a small scale were investigatedin the South of Kyungsang Province.
The period of its operation is in concord with the mid of 6~7th century, manufacturing various kinds of remains in bulk. Especially, in the dwelling remains inside the king’s palace in Shilla, the remains of the Mulcholro Historical Site of Sonkogdong are frequently excavated so this can prove that the operation in a kiln was carried out by a state-run.
