발달지연 영유아 자녀를 둔 가정에서 배우자의 양육참여와 자녀와의 상호작용이 어머니의 결혼만족에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of the Cooperation from Husbands and Mother-Child Interaction on Mothers' Marital Satisfaction in the Family of Children for Developmental Delays -Focusing on Mediating Effects of Parenting Stress and Marital Conflict-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 발달지연 영유아를 돌보는 어머니들의 결혼만족정도를 배우자의 양육참여와 자녀와의 상호작용 관계에 초점을 두어 살펴보고자 하였다. 특히 배우자의 양육참여와 자녀와의 상호작용이 어머니의 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향을 양육스트레스와 부부갈등의 매개효과를 고려하여 보다 포괄적이고 구체적으로 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 육아정책연구소의 아동패널자료를 활용하여 발달지연 영유아를 양육하고 있는 180명의 어머니들에 대한 설문자료를 구조 방정식을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과에 따르면, 첫째, 발달지연 영유아기 자녀를 둔 가정에서 아버지의 양육참여가 어머니의 결혼만족도에 미치는 효과는 부부갈등에 의해 완전 매개되는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니가 발달지연 영유아와의 관계에서 경험하는 상호작용은 어머니의 결혼만족도에 유의미하게 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니와 발달지연 영유아간의 상호작용이 어머니의 결혼만족도에 미치는 효과는 어머니가 인지하는 부부갈등과 양육스트레스 정도에 의해 부분 매개되는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과들은 발달지연 영유아의 가정에서 어머니의 결혼만족도가 가족 내 관계인 남편과의 관계 및 자녀와의 관계에 따라 달라짐을 의미한다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 배우자의 양육참여 촉진을 제안하고 어머니와 자녀간의 긍정적인 상호작용을 증진하는 프로그램을 제안하는 등 구체적인 함의를 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the cooperation from husbands and interaction with their children on mothers' marital satisfaction in the family of young children at risk for developmental delays. Specially, this study examined the mediating effects of parenting stress and marital conflict. This study utilized 180 mothers who participated in the third wave of the Panel study on Korean children conducted in 2010 and analysed by using structural equation model. The results are following. First, marital conflict fully mediated the relationships between cooperation from husbands with childcare and mothers' marital satisfaction. Second, mother-child interaction quality directly influence marital satisfaction. Third, marital conflict and parenting stress partially mediated the relationship between mother-child interaction and mothers' marital satisfaction. The findings showed that interactions among family members significantly influence mothers' marital satisfaction. Based on these results, this study suggests several implications such as developing a support program for both parents and utilizing the interaction focused intervention.
