유치원과 어린이집의 종일제 프로그램 운영 실태와 교사 인식 비교 연구 = A Comparison of the Management Conditions and Teacher`s Recognition of Child Care Center and Kindergarten of Full-Day Programs

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 어린이집과 유치원의 종일제 프로그램 운영 실태와 교사 인식에 어떠한 차이가 있는가를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 광주광역시의 종일제 프로그램 운영 유치원과 어린이집 각 200곳씩 총 400개소에 질문지를 총 400부 배포하여 220부(55%)를 회수하였으며, 이 중 응답이 저조한 40부를 제외하고 184부(회수대비 83.6%)를 분석하였다. 이러한 결과 종일제 프로그램 학급 구성에 있어 혼합연령으로 운영하는 경우가 어린이집에 비해 유치원이 많은 것으로 나타났으며, 교사 운영에 있어서도 종일제 프로그램의 오후 활동을 전담하는 교사가 어린이집에 비해 유치원의 경우 더 많은 것으로 나타났다. 중점을 두는 오후 활동으로 두 기관 모두 휴식을 중심으로 한 보육서비스가 가장 많았으며, 다음으로 취학 전 준비교육이 주로 이루어지는 것으로 나타났다. 종일제 프로그램 운영에 있어 우선되어야 할 개선 사항으로 어린이집 교사는 장시간 근무로 인한 어려움을 해결할 수 있도록 전담 또는 보조 교사 확충을, 유치원 교사는 종일제 프로그램을 위한 시설설비의 개선과 확충으로 인식하고 있어 의미 있는 차이를 보였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study have been carried out to compare between child care center and kindergarten about full-day program`s management condition and teacher`s recognition. For the subject of this study, 200 child care center and 200 kindergarten in Gwangju, the data were collected using the questionnaire designed by a researcher. Finally 184 questionnaire were analyzed using Spss 11.0 program. The finding of this study can be summarized as follow, first, on the Full-day program`s class consist, kindergarten`s different age group more than child care center. And kindergarten`s full-day program complete charge teacher more than child care center, too. Second, Full-day program`s afternoon active is care service and teaching for academic skill as 3R`s. Third, The majority of child care center`s teacher wanted to use budget for increase of the complete charge teacher. But, The majority of kindergarten`s teacher wanted to use budget for facilities, equipment for full-day program. This result contribute require budget for develop different age group program and teaching method, increase of the complete charge teacher and facilities, equipment for full-day program.
