The most people have some representative prejudices when they are facing women drivers while driving. They tend to associate with female drivers as interrupters who impede the flow of the road. For example, the people who drive too slowly alone, drivers who have frequent sudden stop and a quick start and inexperienced people with changing lanes. In this paper, we have studied deceleration characteristics which is one of drivers' traits according to drivers' gender when they driving on the highway for investigating the truth. For experiments, we recruited twenty men and twenty women patients who are 30~40 years old. Highway is selected as a test course to reduce to a minimum impact from environment Brake Act signals that is transported from vehicles are used to analyze and same a highway and a vehicle are used at the same time. About 20 minutes before starting the test have been adapted to the drivers to get used a test vehicle. Through the result of this study, we would like to identify male and female drivers' deceleration characteristics and reconsider preconceptions about women drives that most people have.
