초등학생의 진로포부와 진로성숙도 간의 관계 = Relationship between Career Aspirations and Career Maturity of Elementary School Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 학년 및 성별에 따른 초등학교 고학년 학생의 진로포부와 진로성숙도를 분석하고 두 변인 간의 관계를 규명하는 데 있었다. 본 연구는 전국 17개 시·도 지역 중 충청권의 3개 지역(대전, 세종, 충남)의 초등학교 5∼6학년 학생 306명을 임의로 표집하였고, 진로포부 검사와 진로성숙도 검사를 학년 및 학생 특성에 맞게 수정·보완하여 이용하였으며, 지도교수와 경력교사들의 검토 등을 거쳐 검사 도구의 타당도와 신뢰도를 확보하였다.
통계 자료는 2020년 12월 1일부터 12월 11일까지 온라인 및 직접 배부를 통해 수집하였으며, 총 310부의 설문지를 배부하고 전량 회수하였다. 활용 불가능한 설문지를 제외하고 최종적으로 306부의 설문지를 연구에 활용하였다(유효율 98.7%). 본 연구에 활용된 설문지는 SPSS 21 프로그램으로 통계처리 하였으며, 유의수준 p<.05에서 t-test, F-test, 피어슨의 상관관계 분석 등을 실시하였다.
본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 초등학교 고학년 학생들의 진로포부는 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 둘째, 성별에 따른 초등학교 고학년 학생들의 진로성숙도는 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 셋째, 학년에 따른 초등학생의 진로포부와 그 하위요인들은 유의미한 차이를 나타냈으며, 6학년 학생들이 5학년 학생들에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 학년에 따른 초등학생의 진로성숙도와 그 하위요인들은 의미 있는 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 다섯째, 진로포부와 그 하위요소의 수준이 높은 집단이 진로성숙도도 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 여섯째, 초등학생의 진로포부와 진로성숙도는 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 초등학생의 진로성숙도를 높이는 방법으로는 진로교육에서 초등학생들의 진로포부 수준을 높여 줄 수 있는 프로그램을 운영할 필요가 있다. 더불어 현재 초등학생들의 진로포부 및 진로성숙도와 관련한 학습 및 체험 프로그램이 미비하므로 이와 관련된 후속 연구가 요구된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purposes of this study were to analyze career aspirations and career maturity of senior elementary school students by grade and gender and to identify the relationship between the two. Among the 17 cities and provinces nationwide 306 elementary school students in 3 regions (Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam) were randomly selected and career aspirations and career maturity tests were modified and supplemented according to grade and student characteristics.
Statistics were collected online and directly from 1 to 11 December 2020, and a total of 310 questionnaires were distributed and collected. Except for unavailable questionnaires 306 questionnaires were finally used for the effectiveness 98.7% efficiency The questionnaires utilized in this study were statistically processed by the SPSS 21 program with significance levels p<.05 The correlation analysis of t-test, F-test and Pearson’s correlation analysis were conducted in p<.05
The main results of this study are as follows.
First, career aspirations of senior elementary school students by gender did not show significant differences. Second, senior elementary school students' career maturity by gender did not show significant differences. Third, career aspirations of elementary school students and their sub-factors showed significant differences with sixth-grade students higher than fifth-grade students.
Fourth, the career maturity of elementary school students and their sub-factors did not show significant differences. Fifth, it was analyzed that groups with high levels of career aspirations and their sub-factors also have high career maturity. Sixth, career aspirations and career maturity of elementary school students have a significant static relationship.
Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to run a program that can raise the level of career aspirations of elementary school students in career education as a way to improve career maturity of elementary school students. In addition, since there are currently insufficient learning and experience programs related to career aspirations and career maturity of elementary school students follow-up research is required.
