This investigation of the religious views of university students was undertaken in August 1971. Four hundrcd students were selected from Kyungpook National University and Yungnam University in Taegu, Korea. Its main objective is to compare the religious views of Korean and Japanese students.
Although they showed a notable similarity in many respects those students of the two countries showed a quite different attitude toward religion. Korean students tend to have a more favorable attitude to religion than Japanese students. This difference of religious attitudes might have arisen from the different social and cultural milieu of the two countries.
