보건계열 대학생들의 외모관리행동이 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로준비 행동에 미치는 영향 : 전북지역 H 대학교를 중심으로 = The Effects of Appearance Management Behavior on Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy and Career Preparation Behavior of University Students in Health Courses : Focusing on H university in Jeonbuk Area

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

According to these social and cultural trends, changes in appearance management behavior are no exception for the health care workers who deal with people's lives. Therefore, career preparation behavior and career decision-making self-efficacy depending upon appearance management behavior have a core meaning in determining career and establishing a plan to achieve the desired result. In this regard, the current study aimed to examine the relationship between appearance management behaviors of health-related college students and career decision-making selfefficacy and career preparation behaviors. A total of 330 copies of the questionnaires were distributed, and 316 copies of the collected questionnaires were used for final analysis. Results revealed that career decision-making self-efficacy was correlated with skin care behavior, fashion management behavior, and cosmetic surgery management behavior which are the sub-factors of appearance management behavior, and career preparation behavior was correlated with body type management behavior and fashion management behavior. Therefore, if a desirable career decision-making self-efficacy promotion program is launched for college students with healthy appearance management habits, a more proficient career performance can be achieved through formation of a positive image and behavioraliszation.
