백석 시의 묘사적 주체와 정치적 자기 재현 양상

국문 초록 (Abstract)

‘근대와 전통의 차별적 공존’을 향한 모색은 백석 시가 보여준 희유한 성과로 평가된다. 백석이 보여준 묘사적 재현의 어법은 강제된 재현의 딜레마를 우회한 다음 그것을 정면으로 재전유한 형식 미학을 전략으로 택한다. 본 연구에서는 백석의 시에 나타난 묘사적 주체의 정치적 자기 재현 양상을 살펴 읽었다. 연구자는 세 가지 측면에서 접근했다. 먼저, ‘녯날’이라는 불특정하고 압축된 시간 속에 축조되는 내면성을 거쳐서 사적인 역사를 구축하는 양상을 추적한다. 다음으로 식민지 근대의 ‘나쁜 대상성’과 맞갖는 ‘토템’ 대상을 불러내며 사랑과 연대의 가능성을 탐문하는 백석의 묘사적 주체에 주목한다. 마지막으로 백석의 묘사적 주체가 보여주는 풍경의 휴머니스트 전략을 살펴 읽는다. 연구의 전제로 근래에 논의되는 인류학적 전회, 미시정치적 기술 등의 방법론을 원용하였다. 본 연구의 성과는 본론에서 제안한 ‘묘사적 주체의 정치적 자기 재현 양상’을 통시적으로 읽어내는 방향으로 확장될 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The search for a ‘differentiated coexistence of modernity and tradition’ is a rare achievement of Baek’s poetry. Baekseok’s language of descriptive representation adopts a formal aesthetic that bypasses the dilemma of forced representation and then reappropriates it head-on as a strategy. This study examines the political self-representation of descriptive subjects in Baek Seok’s poetry. The researcher approached it from three aspects. First, it traces the construction of private history through interiority, which is built in the unspecified and compressed time of the ‘old days’. Next, I focus on Baekseok’s depictive subjectivity, which explores the possibility of love and solidarity by invoking a ‘totemic’ object that confronts the ‘bad objectivity’ of colonial modernity. Finally, I examine the humanist strategies of landscape that Baekseok’s depictive subjects employ. As the premise of the study, the methodologies discusse d in recent years, such as anthropological episodic and micro-political techniques, were used. The results of this study can be extended in the direction of a diachronic reading of the ‘political self-representation of the depictive subject’ proposed in the main text.
