수사전문성 제고를 위한 교육 및 평가 방식 개선에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Improvement of Education and Evaluation Methods for Enhancing Investigation Expertise

According to the revision of the Criminal Procedure Act and the trend of the times, the police's responsibility for the investigation becomes heavy, and the police are required to have corresponding expertise. The National Police Agency is trying to improve the quantity and quality of investigation education as one of the ways to improve investigation expertise. By strengthening practical classes in theory-oriented job education, they try improve investigators' ability. Therefore, this study analyzed using the results of the training of new investigators to confirm which method of education is most suitable for enhancing expertise among theoretical and practical education. As a result of the analysis, practical evaluation was found to be highly directly related to practical ability, but theoretical evaluation was not related to practical ability or had a limited effect through practical evaluation. Therefore, in order to effectively use limited educational resources, job education centered on theoretical evaluation should be changed to the education based on practical evaluation.
