부모의 역사에 대한 인식 정도와 관심도가 부모의 역사의식에 미치는 영향 = The effects of parents’ levels of awareness and interest in history on their historical consciousness

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 부모가 가지는 역사에 대한 인식 정도와 관심도가 부모의 역사의식에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 부모의 가치관과 양육 태도 및 신념은 유아의 발달에 영향을 미치는 핵심변인으로서, 부모의 역사에 대한 인식과 관심이 유아 역사교육을 위한 중요한 변인이 될 수 있기 때문이다. 이러한 연구 목적을 위해 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 역사의식은 어떠한가? 둘째, 부모의 역사에 대한 인식 정도, 관심도가 부모의 역사의식에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가? 본 연구의 대상은 J시의 만 5세 유아의 부모 131쌍이다. 연구도구로는 Ramdhani, Naim 그리고 Sumardi(2019)와 장은경(2004)의 역사의식 검사지를 수정 보완하고 내용타당도를 검증한 성인용 역사의식 검사지로, 유아편에 연구도구를 배부하고, 다시 회수하였다. 자료분석을 위해서 SPSS 18를 이용한 기술통계와 상관분석, 일원변량분석 및 Scheffe 사후 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 부모는 모두 보통 이상의 역사의식을 함양하고 있었으며, 아버지와 어머니 모두 역사의 유용성에 대한 인식이 가장 높았다. 다음으로, 부모의 역사에 대한 인식 정도와 관심도는 매우 높은 상관이 있었으며, 아버지와 어머니의 역사에 대한 인식 정도와 관심도가 높을수록 역사의식이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 부모의 역사의식과 인식도 정도와 부모 역사의식 간의 관계를 알아보고, 유아의 역사의식을 신장시키기 위하여 부모변인의 중요성을 인식시키는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study explored the effect of parents levels of awareness and interest in history on their historical consciousness. The study aimed to analyze the historical consciousness of parents, as well as to fundamentally understand differences in this aforementioned consciousness in accordance to the degrees of awareness and interest of the parents. 131 pairs of parents in J City were interviewed in this study; research tools contributed by Ramdhani, Naim, and Sumardi (2019) as well as Jang Eunkyung (2004) were revised and supplemented and then distributed for use. Data analysis was conducted with descriptive statistics and correlation analysis using SPSS+18, one-way variance analysis, and Scheffe post-verification. The results of the study found that both parents had a generally higher level of consciousness in regards to history, as well as greater awareness of the usefulness of history. Moreover, there was strong correlation between degree of awareness and interest in history in parents; the higher the degree of awareness and interest of parents, the higher their consciousness was in relevance to history. The results are significant in that they contribute to recognizing the importance of parent variables in better understanding the relationship between parents’ interest, awareness, and consciousness of history in relation to the cultivation of young children’s historical awareness.
