Recently, as the Internet usage increases, the transmission rate in the cellular network has became critical.
To overcome the lack of higher data rate and to increase spatial reuse, NOMA (Non-orthogonal Multiple Access) technology that can handle more users and signals attracts attentions.
Traditionally, data is delivered either in frequency or time domain, whereas NOMA leverages power domain.
In NOMA, because how user clusters are organized determines the total throughput and fairness largely, pairing the users for the cluster is the main challenge.
Besides NOMA, beamforming can increase the spectral efficiency by focusing on SNR of the specific user or group.
However, combining beamforming with NOMA to achieve higher performance is highly complex problem and requires careful approaches.
In this paper, we introduce joint user clustering and beamforming scheme to maximize the utility in NOMA with beamforming.
For solving our problem, several features that highly effect the utility are analyzed, and with those features the heuristic algorithm is suggested.
This solution can reduce the beamforming and NOMA interference effectively, and increase the signal power.
