密植栽培時 有限型大豆品種의 增收를 爲한 方案으로서 結實其間동안의 摘葉效果에 對한 收量形質의 相互關係를 밝힐 目的으로 葉切除時期 및 葉部位의 條件을 달리하여 有限型品種으로서 광림, 단엽콩을 擇하여 1983年 6月부터 10月까지 本試驗을 實施하였던 바 그 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다.
1. 開花期後의 乾物重은 品種에 關係없이 開花後 5日부터 점점 증가되어 開花後 30日이 되는 9月 1日 最大가 되었고 그후 密植으로 葉과 葉柄部分으로 落下가 많았다.
2. 摘葉處理時期別로 본 結莢率 및 株當莢數는 9月 26日 以後 摘葉한 것이 가장 높았고 葉部位에 따라서는 主稈葉과 8節下位葉 摘葉區가 多少 높았다.
3. 莢長과 莢當粒數는 處理에 따라 일정하지 않았지만 全葉摘葉區에서 初期에(8月 27日∼9月11日)뚜렷이 적었다.
4. 株當粒數는 登熟率, 白粒重과 全處理에서 類似한 傾向이었고 落花後 40日까지는(10月 30日)密植條件下의 群落狀態에서도 同化效率이 結實에 좋은 影響을 주는 것으로 보인다.
5. 株當粒重(收量)은 大部分의 葉部位別處理에서 10月 1日區가 가장 높았으나 10月 6日區와 별로 差異가 없었다.
6. 株當種實收量은 株當莢數, 100粒重 登熟率, 結莢率, 株當粒數와 높은 相關을 보였으나 莢長과 莢當粒數와는 有意的相關이 없었다.

To establish useful information of leaf picking during the bearing season under the high plant population in soybean, an investigation was made on variation of several agronomic characters of soybean plants yield under different picking times and levels, using Kanglim and Danyepcong as determinate types during the period from June to October on 1983 at Jinju Korea.
The result obtained were summarized as follow;
1. The dry weight at fifth day after flowering period, August 27 was increased and the peak of that was at thirtieth day after flowering, September 21, and then the high degree of leafand petiolefall was highly associated with dense planting condition.
2. At different leaf picking times, the podding rate and number of pods per plant were high when picked leaf on September 26 thoes of defoliation levels were high in the plot which the leaves of main stem(ML) and lower stem(LL) were picked.
3. The grain number per pod and pods length according to each treatment showed irregular, but the grain number of pocs under picked leaves all to plant appeared to be lowered at the early seed setting time, respectively.
4. The grain number per plant at overall treatment was similar to the percentage of ripeness and 100 grain weight, the assimilation efficiency of photosynthesis of colony until fortith day after flowering stage seem to be increased gradually regardless of a dense planting condition.
5. High yields were obtained when picked on October 1, but there was no difference between yields at October 1 and October 6 pickings.
6. The grain weight per plant was positively correlated with the number of pods per plant, podding rate, 100 grain weight, percentage of ripeness and grain number per plant, while on significant correlation was found between the pods length and grain number per pod.
