The purpose of this study is to develop a non-violent dialogue psychodrama program for adolescents from multicultural families and to verify its effectiveness. Referring to the model of Kim Chang-dae, it was applied to the development of this program. The subjects of this study are 17 adolescents from multicultural families, 9 in the experimental group and 8 in the control group. Empathy ability, emotional intelligence, and gratitude tools were used as research tools to verify the effectiveness of the nonviolent dialogue psychodrama program. This study was analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program. The homogeneity test between the experimental group and the control group was conducted using an independent sample t-test. In addition, to verify the effect on empathy, emotional intelligence, and gratitude, a pre- and post-matched sample t-test was conducted between the experimental group and the control group. As a result of the study, first, the nonviolent dialogue psychodrama program was effective in empathy, emotional intelligence, and gratitude. Statistically significant results were derived from the pre- and post-tests of the experimental group and the control group in empathy, emotional intelligence, and gratitude. Second, in the program change, the rapport with the participants was well formed and the satisfaction with the group was high. The program supplemented the disadvantages of the group with difficulty in language communication, and it was confirmed that language expression and emotional expression appeared as strengths of therapeutic elements.
