During construction or occupancy, the SFRM(spray-applied fire resistive material) may become damaged. Steel column with damaged SFRM exhibit reduced structural performance due to the localized effects of elevated temperature during fire events. Structural analysis was performed to elevate the influence of temperature on column axial load behavior. Thus, the fire load behavior of steel columns with removed or reduced SFRM needs to be examined to predict fire induced structural damage. Its analysis was performed using three steel columns [H-250×250×9×14, H-350×350×12×19, and H-428×407×20×35]. The variables were removed thickness or length on the flange, exposure time, and column weight.
