키워드를 활용한 경제 교과서 비교 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

오늘날 전 세계적으로 이슈화 되고 있는 문제는『경제』이며, 우리 주위에서 발생하는 모든 일들은『경제』라는 단어를 빼놓고는 이야기 할 수 없다. 그만큼 경제는 우리의 현실 생활과 가장 밀접하게 관련되어 있는 분야로서 중요함을 알 수 있다. 현행 경제 교육은 중등학교 수업 현장 속에서 교과서를 매개로 이루어지고 있다. 교과서는 교수자로 하여금 교수내용을 인지하게 하고 그것을 학생들에게 어떤 방식으로 전달할 것인가에 대한 아이디어를 제공하는 한편, 학습자에게는 교사의 설명과 더불어 중요한 학습창구로 기능한다. 이렇듯 경제 교육에서 교과서와 교과서 집필 기준이 되는 교육과정을 떼어 놓고 설명 할 수가 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사회과 교육과정의 변천사를 통해 경제 교육에 대해 재조명 할 것이며, 현재 검·인정제도로 편찬되고 있는 중학교『사회1』,『사회2』, 고1『사회』교과서 6종과 2009개정 교육과정시기『경제』교과서 2종, 7차 교육과정시기『경제』교과서 2종: 총 12종을 대상으로 한 키워드 분석을 하고자 한다. 교과서 키워드와 사회과 교육과정을 통한 분석의 결과물을 토대로 경제교육의 문제점을 살펴보면 첫째로, 현행 사회과 교육과정안에서 경제교육은 점차 축소되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 둘째로, 각 출판사 별 고1『사회』교과서 내에서 경제용어 분량에 큰 차이를 보이고 있으며, 일부 교과서는 중요한 경제용어임에도 불구하고 서술되어 있지 않고 있다. 셋째로, 수많은 검·인정 교과서 중 어떤 교과서를 선택하느냐에 따라 경제 교육의 빈부 차이가 발생하고 있다. 넷째로, 경제용어가 어렵고, 실생활과 괴리된 교수자의 수업방식의 문제점이 있었다. 이러한 경제교육 문제점을 개선의 방안으로서 학생들 사이에 높은 인기를 끌고 있는 온라인 게임을 활용한 수업 방법을 통해 경제 교육의 대안을 살펴보고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, Economy is the issued problem around the world. The term ‘Economy’ is so closely related to all of the things that occur around us.
The economic education is carried by textbook in the secondary school. The textbooks allow teacher to be aware government guidelines for teaching, and it will be passed on to students in any way to provide idea. It can also provide study guide to students with the teacher’s description. Also, the economic education is so closely related to curriculum as the writing standard of textbooks.
In this study, I analyzed keyword using the twelve kinds of textbooks published by official approval – the social study textbook One and Two for middle school student, six kinds of social study textbooks for high school junior students, two kinds of economic textbooks for high school students, and two kinds of economic textbooks for high school students with seventh period.
As I analyzed the textbooks keyword and the social study curriculum, I deduce a four problem. First, it is reduced the size of economic education in the social study curriculum. Second, the economic word frequency of social study textbooks in the each publisher is big difference. And some important economic terms don’t describe in the textbooks. Third, economic understanding is different from selecting some textbooks published by official approval. Finally, economic term is difficult, and the school education is a gap with the reality.
In the improvement of economic educational issues, I suggest alternative economic education utilizing online game which is highly popular among the students.
