다문화 가정 자녀의 직업인식, 진로대안영역 및 직업포부 = Occupational Perceptions and Zone of Acceptable Alternatives, Occupation Aspiration of Children from Multi-Cultural Families

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to identify how children from multi-cultural families know about occupation, and to identify zone of acceptable alternatives and occupation aspiration of children from multi-cultural families based on Gottfredson's Theory. The results of this study provide basic informations for career guidance of children from multi-cultural families.
Population of his study was school-age children of children from multi-cultural families and children from non multi-cultural families. 240 students(120 children from multi-cultural families and 120 children from non multi-cultural families) were drawn form th population by third stage(high grade elementary school students, 4-6 grade), forth stage(middle school students) based on Gottfredson's developmental stage. 221 were used for analysis after data cleaning. The major findings in study were as follows.
First, occupational perceptions of children from multi-cultural families were lower than occupational perceptions of children from non multi-cultural families. Second, zone of acceptable alternatives of middle school students grew narrower than zone of acceptable alternatives of high grade elementary school students. Third, level of occupation aspiration of children from multi-cultural families were lower than level of occupation aspiration of children from non multi-cultural families.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 다문화 가정 자녀들이 직업에 대해 얼마만큼 아는지 직업의 인식수준을 구명하고 또한 Gottfredson의 직업포부 이론에 따라 이들의 진로대안영역 및 직업포부를 구명하고 이와 관련있는 변인들과의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 다문화 가정 자녀들의 진로지도를 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 모집단은 학령기의 다문화 가정 자녀와 비교집단인 비 다문화 가정 자녀로 설정하였다. 표집은 Gottfredson의 발달단계에 따라 3단계 초등학교 고학년 학생(4∼6학년), 4단계 중학생을 대상으로, 총 240명을 표집하여 분석에 총 221명의 자료를 사용하였다. 이를 통한 주요한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 다문화 가정 자녀들의 직업인식은 비 다문화 가정 자녀들에 비해 낮았으며 두 집단 간의 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 직업이 무슨 일을 하는지에 대해 인식하는 수준의 차이가 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로대안영역은 초등학생보다 중학생의 경우에 진로대안영역이 좁아지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 다문화 가정 자녀의 직업포부 지위수준이 비 다문화 가정 자녀에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다.
