헤어 미용 전공 사회수요맞춤형 대학교육이 교육 만족도와 진로 결정에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of Social Demand-Oriented Education in the Hairdressing Major at University upon Education Satisfaction and Career Decision in Beauty

국문 초록 (Abstract)

헤어 미용 전공 사회수요맞춤형 대학교육이 교육 만족도와 진로 결정에 미치는 영향 원광대학교 대학원 뷰티디자인학과 이주현 우리나라의 미용 산업은 전 세계적으로 큰 관심을 받고 있으며 그에 부응하 는 미용 기술의 발전이 이루어지고 있다. 이에 미용 분야의 산업체는 현장에 서 필요로 하는 기술과 인성을 함양한 인재를 원하고 있다. 대학에서는 산업 체의 수요에 맞춘 인재 양성과 공급을 위하여 현장 실무중심형 교육의 중요성 에 대하여 인식하고 교육의 방향성 잡고 있다. 실용 학문인 미용 전공은 실무 중심형 교육 운영을 추구하기 위해 산업체와 대학 간의 긴밀한 교육 협력을 통해 산업체, 대학 그리고 학생들에게 다양한 이점을 안겨주는 사회수요맞춤 형교육을 확대 추진하고 있다. 이 연구는 사회수요맞춤형 교육이 헤어 미용 전공 분야의 학생 만족과 진로 선택에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 경기권, 충청권, 영남권, 호남권 소재의 사회수요맞춤형 교육을 이수하고 있는 재학생을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 조사 기간은 2023년 11월 6일부터 11월 19일까지였고, 총 350부를 배포된 설문지 중 응답이 불성실한 38부의 설문지를 제외하고, 최종 312부를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 데이터 코딩 과정을 거쳐 SPSS ver, 25.0 을 활용하여 통계분석 하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회수요맞춤형 대학교육의 사회수요맞춤형 대학교육의 교수자 역량이 학습만족도, 교수자 만족과 헤어 미용 전공 대학생의 진로 결정성에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 교수자의 역량이 학습만족도와 진로 결 정에 주요한 요인으로 작용하며, 교수자의 수준 높은 현장형 테크닉과 전공 분야에 대한 이론적 전문지식의 보유가 중요한 함을 확인했다. 둘째, 헤어 미용 전공 사회수요맞춤형 대학교육의 실무적합성이 교육환경 만 족도에 가장 주요한 요인으로 작용하며, 산업체에서 실질적으로 활용할 수 있 는 실무 및 이론적인 지식을 습득할 수 있는 교육과정을 개발하고, 산업체에 최적화된 교육방법을 구현해야한다는 필요성이 있는 것으로 사료된다. 셋째, 사회수요맞춤형 대학교육의 교육 내용이 헤어 미용 전공 대학생의 진 로 결정 확신성에 가장 주요한 요인으로, 학습자의 의식 수준을 고려한 맞춤 형 교육을 개발의 필요성을 확인 하였다. 사회수요맞춤형교육의 교육자 역량, 교육 내용, 실무적합성, 교육환경은 사회 수요맞춤형교육 과정이 현재 헤어 미용 전공 분야의 대학생들에게 실질적인 인식 면 및 교육효과에 매우 중요한 요인으로 작용하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한, 사회수요맞춤형 교육과정의 효과 검증 및 실효성을 파악하여 앞으로 개선 방향성을 잡는 것이 중요할 것이며, 이 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 연구 에서는 산업체 취업 후 사회수요맞춤형 교육이 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는지에 대 한 후속 연구의 필요성이 요구된다.

The Effect Of Social Demand-Oriented Education in the Hairdressing Major at University upon Education Satisfaction and Career Decision in Beauty Ju Hyun Lee Department of Beauty Design Graduate School, Wonkwang university The beauty industry in Korea has been receiving significant global attention, leading to the development of advanced beauty techniques. In response, industry players in the beauty field are seeking individuals who possess the necessary skills and qualities for the industry. Universities recognize the importance of providing education that aligns with industry demands and are actively shaping the direction of education through practical and industry-focused training. The beauty major, as a practical field of study, aims to expand socially demand-driven education by fostering close collaboration between industry and academia, offering various benefits to both industry partners and students. This study aims to verify the effect of socially demand-driven education on student satisfaction and career choices in the field of hair and beauty. A survey was conducted among students enrolled in socially demand-driven education programs in the Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, Yeongnam, and Honam regions. The survey was conducted from November 6th to November 19th, 2023, and a total of 312 valid responses were analyzed after excluding 38 incomplete surveys. The collected data underwent coding and statistical analysis using SPSS ver. 25.0. The following are the results of the analysis: First, the competence of instructors in socially demand-driven education has the greatest influence on student satisfaction, instructor satisfaction, and career decision-making among hair and beauty students. This highlights the significant role of instructor competence as a key factor in student satisfaction and career decision-making. It emphasizes the importance of instructors possessing high-level practical techniques and theoretical expertise in the field. Second, the practical suitability of socially demand-driven education in the beauty major has the most significant effect on satisfaction with the educational environment. It suggests the need to develop educational programs that enable students to acquire practical and theoretical knowledge that can be effectively utilized in the industry. Implementing education methods optimized for industry needs is also crucial. Third, the content of socially demand-driven education is the most important factor influencing the certainty of career decision-making among hair and beauty students. It underscores the necessity of developing tailored education that considers the consciousness level of learners. The competence of educators, educational content, practical suitability, and educational environment in socially demand-driven education are all crucial factors that greatly influence the perception and educational outcomes of hair and beauty students. Understanding the effectiveness and practicality of socially demand-driven education programs and identifying areas for improvement based on research findings are essential. Furthermore, future research should investigate the effect of socially demand-driven education on students' experiences after employment in the industry.
