This study identified factors that affect time perception in the waiting room to identify factors to shorten subjective waiting time in dental clinics. And the application status of them is divided into spatial factor, empirical factor and information factor. In terms of spatial factors, the waiting room was about 16 to 32% of the total area, and it was located the farthest distance from the dental office. In the case of furniture, it is arranged in a clustered form, but since it is not provided with an independent space in general, it seems to be difficult to secure privacy. This behavior may be due to dental clinics using reservation systems. In terms of empirical factors, each dental clinic provided a characteristic service. Examples include televisions, magazines and books, DVDs for children, cosmetic corners, artwork, and cafe corners, which can enhance psychological stability. In terms of information elements, there were medical information booklets, treatment images, and medical panels. But there was no place to show the waiting sequence. The reason is that all dental clinics operate reservation systems. However, the reservation system can be delayed depending on the patient"s condition. Therefore, it is possible to shorten the waiting time for the customers by providing information on the waiting order through the monitor.
