      The efficient system of the marine logistic management is not established because of the various marine products distribution channels from production centers to consumers. More fresh marine products(Cold Chain) must be supplied for consumers because marine products become rotten with ease. To improve the maine products logistic system, the standard unit per cargo is required. The packing units of marine products vary with Pisces, and with the size even in the same Pisces.
      Also, the unified system of the total logistic acitvities-transportation, distribution, and stroage, and so on-is not established from delivery to warehousing of suppliers. The storage capacities of marine products, that is, equipment capacities of freezing, refrigeration room are in 12.7% short when considering production, imports, and exports of marine productions.
      Therefore, for efficiency and reasonable development of marine products distribution, the purpose of this paper is to seek the states of Korean marine products distribution and their problems, present its improvements.
      The functions of maine products logistic management are divided into transportation, storage, packing, unloading and information. Also these functions must be not in independent function by each but in intergration system linked to overall distribution system.
      The results of this study are as follows;
      First, in introduction of standard and Unit Load System of the packing unit, the automation and mechanization of transprotation, unloading and storage will be established. With the economic effects of ULS, personnel expenses and working times can be decreased. The operating function such as loading, storage and inventory management can be efficiency owing to the standard of all courses form packing to transportation, unloading, storage.
      Second, the competitive ness of small-medium refrigeration Co. should be promoted as co-operating the freezing-refrigeration equipments. Today the equipment size of the constructing freezing-refrigeration warehouse is larging. Thus the competitive ness of these firms is losing. As a example of Japan TOCP have been seen, 16 firms of small-medium freezing Co. establish co-refrigeration warehouse, manage the efficiency and reasonable management through co-loading working and co-management. Therefore we will reinvestigate the project of Kamchun's freezing-refrigeration equipment of exclusive pier for deep-sea fishing.
