鐵道驛舍 旅客利用 行態 分析을 통한 驛舍施設 改善方案에 관한 硏究 = (A) study on improvement planning for the facilities of railroad stations through an analysis on utilization status of travelers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리나라 철도역에 대한 역사 건물은 100여년이 지나는 장구한 세월속에서 철도건축 뿐만 아니라 우리나라 건축의 태동을 이끌어 나온 장본인이라 해도 과언이 아닐 정도로 건축발전에 지대한 영향을 끼쳤다고 본다.
철도건축의 발전은 역사 건물이 단순히 교통수단으로서의 역할만이 아닌 지역발전과 함께 성장해온 점을 감안하더라도 많은 변화가 있었다. 이로써 본 연구의 목적도 이제는 철도역이라는 단순개념을 벗어나 세계화를 향한 국제적인 역사로서 함께 어깨를 견주고, 나아가 영원히 후손들에게 잊혀지지 않는 역사 건물이 되어지길 바라면서, 좀더 나은 우리 생활에 편리하고 이용객을 위한 배려와, 안전한 시설로서의 건축물이 되도록 설계되어 져야 할 것이다.
이에 본 연구는 철도역사에 대한 공공시설의 이용현황을 조사하여, 철도이용객을 위한 편의제공은 물론, 동선흐름을 관찰하여 역시설에 대한 개선방향을 찾아 기본계획 단계에서부터 공간계획을 잘 하여야 한다고 인식하였다.
따라서 본 연구에서는 우선 각 역별 시설물에 대한 이용실태를 기술하고, 이에 따른 각 시설물에 대한 역별 비교분석으로 여러가지 문제점을 도출한 후, 이를 바탕으로 철도역사의 공공성 확보를 위한 개선방향을 제시하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 역사 접근이 용이하도록 역사 전면광장에 교통흐름을 원활히 하기 위하여 차종별 접근 Bay시설 설치가 필요하고,
둘째, 콘코스내 역무시설은 여객 동선을 고려하여 출입홀의 유입인원에 따라 순방향으로 하고, 여객이 교차되지 않도록 최대한 짧은 거리에 시설물을 배치할 수 있도록 고려한다.
셋째, 역사내 화장실 및 편의시설은 균등배분 보다 주동선 집중배치로 이용객의 편의를 최대한 도모하여야 할 것이다.
넷째, 특히 철도역사는 그 도시의 유래 및 특성이 종합적이고 상징적으로 표현되어 지역의 Landmark가 되어야 하고, 대기공간, 휴식공간 등으로 역을 이용하는 사람들로 하여금 역사는 그 지역의 중심으로 생활과 문화의 거점, 도시의 상징, 주변도시 경관과 잘 조화되도록 계획하여야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It has analyzed that historical buildings of the railroad stations in Korea, it is not too much to say that those are the very ones that have led not only the station buildings but also the forthcoming activities of building constructions in Korea since the past long time period of more than 100 years.
There have had many changes in a development of the railroad architecture since the past history taking into account for the fact that railroad station buildings have taken not only a role of communication simply but also a role to develop with their local societies. Railroad station buildings and facilities will be designed and constructed to be more convenient to our daily lives and more safe for travelers in the fucture getting rid of the concept that those are simply traffic stations but taking into account the fact of constructions of international stations toward a globalization to hope for becoming ones for the descendents in future.
As the results of the analysis on current utilization status of railroad stations and facilities, it has analyzed that a space plan should be prepared well from the very beginning stage of planning for a railroad station when they will have found our an improvement direction of the facilities by surveying a status of utilizing public facilities and by observing a travelers' flow so as to provide for better convenience.
Therefore, the objectives of the study lies suggesting an improvement direction to secure the public community of a railroad station which will be under planning to construct, which is based on the problems which were brought from a comparison of the facilities of each of the stations from the description on utilization status of the facilities of railroad stations.
Results of the study are summarized in the following;
1) A bay facility for each of automobile kinds will be established on an entrance road to the square at a railroad station which will be convenient to access on it by users.
2) Office facilities in concourse will be arranged along the direction to passenger flow according to a number of passengers who will enter an entrance hall by considering the flow direction sufficiently and in the shortest distance not to make passengers to be crossed along it.
3) Toilets and convenience facilities in a station will be arranged to provide a maximum convenience for passengers by focusing on a main stream rather than an even distribution of those.
4) Especially, a railroad station will be a landmark of the region surroundings that represents synthetically and symbolically a history and features of the city and waiting rooms and resting places will be a central point of lives and cultures for the passengers in the city which will be planned to harmonize with symbols and scenes of the neighboring cities as well.
