With the increase in the number of college graduates and the impact of post -new crown pneumonia, the employment situation of Chinese college students is still severe. Encouraging college students to start a business has always been an important measure to solve the employment of college graduates. Affected by many factors, the entrepreneurial intention of Chinese college students is not high. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the cause that affects the entrepreneurial intention of Chinese college students, so as to formulate a plan to enhance their entrepreneurial intentions. For this reason, the specific research issues are as follows.
First, how does Chinese college students' proactive personality, university entrepreneurial support, entrepreneurial self -efficacy, entrepreneurial intention tendency, gender, school year, and majors are different?
Second, what is the relationship between Chinese college students' proactive personality, university entrepreneurial support, entrepreneurial self -efficacy, and entrepreneurial intention?
The subjects of the study were 921 university students from six Chinese universities, and a convenience sampling method was used among non-probability sampling to select the subjects of the study. The reliability of the proactive personality is α=.883 university entrepreneurial support is α=.954 entrepreneurial self -efficacy is α=.923 The entrepreneurial intention is α=.942 Each scale is a 5-point Likert scale. The survey was conducted through the mobile survey app from June 12 to 18, 2023, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 and AMOS 27.0 programs.
In order to determine the concentration tendency of the cause, the average value is found. In order to determine the differences between groups, the T -test and one -dollar configuration variance analysis was performed. In order to understand the relationship between variables, relevant analysis was performed, and a structural equation model analysis was performed. The Bootstrap method explores the direct effect, indirect effect and total effect of the potential variable interval path. All statistical significance levels are set to .05. Below are key research findings.
First, with 5 points, the average proactive personality is 3.72 points, the average entrepreneurial support of university is 3.86 points, the average sense of entrepreneurial self -efficacy is 2.82 points, and the average intention of entrepreneurship is 3.05 points.
Second, The survey shows that there is a significant difference between men and women in the entrepreneurial self -efficacy, and male students are higher than female students. The university entrepreneurial support was statistically significantly higher in the 3rd grade than in the 4th, 2nd, and 1st grades, respectively. Differences in professionalism of entrepreneurial intention, humanities and society are higher than those of science and engineering.
Third, in the relationship between proactive personality and entrepreneurial intention, entrepreneurial self-efficacy plays a mediating role. Fourth, in the relationship between proactive personality and entrepreneurial intention, university entrepreneurial support has not played a medium effect. Fifth, in the relationship between proactive personality and entrepreneurial intention, college entrepreneurial support and entrepreneurial self-efficacy have multi-media effect.
On this basis, the following revelation was proposed.
First, in order to improve the proactive personality of college students, it is necessary to master a variety of strategies. First, college students should start from themselves and pay attention to the cultivation of proactive personality. At the same time, universities in daily education, through a variety of ways to improve the proactive personality of college students. Universities should also carry out proactive personality assessment, according to the level of student proactive personality to carry out entrepreneurial guidance.
Second, in order to improve the self-efficacy of college students, universities should strengthen the status of college students' entrepreneurship in daily entrepreneurship cultivation, and focus on stimulating students' entrepreneurial beliefs. At the same time, mental health education should be carried out to help college students form a good psychological quality of entrepreneurship.
Third, colleges and universities should enrich the form of entrepreneurial support, increase entrepreneurial support, allow college students to feel the feasibility and safety of entrepreneurship, eliminate the fear of unknown entrepreneurship, and improve their entrepreneurial intentions by enhancing the entrepreneurial self -efficiency of college students.
