체육학과 지원 입시생들의 지원배경 및 스포츠 선호경향 조사연구 : K대학교 지원학생을 중심으로 = A study and investigation of preference trends of sports and application background of the applicant students to the department of physical education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study has been aimed to present practical reference materials required for the operation plan and curriclum establishment of the future physical education department by compartatively analyzing the structure of the consciousness preparation situations of the entrance examination and preference tendencies about sports and leisure sports of the applicant students to the department of physical education by the answers of 866 applicant students to the physical education department of K university who were given 5 questions about their application background and 4 questions about their preference trands about sports.
The following conclusion has been the results of the above investigation :
1)The first reason for their application to the department of physical equation was that they just liked it by 280 male applicants(43.38%) while 112 female applicants(50.45%) answered that they just liked it showing the highest frequency distribution, 203 male applicants(31.52%) and 71 female applicants(31.98%) answered that they felt the sports to be applicable to their atitude and they thought it to have possibility of being helpful in the future, and others answered that they chose it because of their results of the examination for schooling ability.
The result of Chi-square test showed significant frequency distribution difference between male and female (p〈.01).
2)566 male(87,89%) and 194 female answered that they themselves had decided to make application for physical education department when asked who had influenced most and physical education teacher, parents and brothers and sisters were the next in the order.
3)When they were asked the time of decision,249 male students(38.66%) and 75 female(33.78%) answered that they decided it in the 2nd year of high school days, 190 male(29.50%) and 62 female(27.93%) in the 3rd year of high school and 1st year of high school and 3rd year of junior high school days were the next in the order.
4)When they were asked about the periods of preparing the practical skill, 264 male(40.99%) had prepared under 6 months, 98 female(44.14%) under 6 months or 1 year and 264 male applicants(40.99%) and 41 female(18.47%) had prepared under 6 months or 1 year. The next were the answers that they never prepared and over 2 years in the order.
The result of Chi-square test of showed very significant distribution difference between male and female by (p〈.001)
5)When they were asked about the method of preparing the practical skill, 306 male(47.52%) and 118 female(53.15%) at private institution, 112 male(17.39%) for themselves, 48 female(21.62%) at school and the next were the answers that they personally taught and they did not receive any training or any other methods.
The result of Chi-square test showed that there has been very significant distribution difference between male and female by (p〈.001)
6)When they were asked about the best favorite sports. 367 male(56.99%) and 86 female(38.74%) answered that they liked basket ball best, and the male applicants liked soccer, baseball, volleyball, Taekwondo, swimming and tabletennis in the order while female applicants baseball, volleyball, taekwondo, swimming and skiing in the order.
7)367 male applicants(33.85%) and 53 female(23.87%) liked basketball best when they were asked about the sports which they like to play, and male applicants liked soccer, baseball, taekwondo, skiing, volleyball and swimming in the order while female applicants skiing, swimming, bowling, volleyball in the order.
8)When they were asked about the best favorite leisure sports male applicants liked skin scuba 91(14.13%), skiing 84(13.04%), wind surfing 68(10.56%), swimming 63(9.78%), snow board 58(9.01%), para-glidiling, water skiing, mountain bike in the order while female applicants skiing 35(15.77%), swimming 28(12.61%), wind surfing 18(8.11%), skin scuba 17(7.66%), snow board, golf, hang-glidiling, water skiing in the order.
9)When they were asked about the best like to play leisure sports, male applicants skin scuba 98(15.22%), hang-glidiling 71(11.02%), wind surfing 67(10.40%), water skiing 49(7.60%), para-glidiling 45(6.99%), snow board, jet skiing, skiing, mountain bike, racquet ball in the order while female swimming 30(13.51%), skiing 29(13.06%), skin scuba 27(12.16%), golf 15(6.77%), wind surfing 14(6.31%), hang-glidiling, water skiing, squash ball, para-glidiling in the order.
