To provide multimedia service that requires real-time and high bandwidth characteristics, we must be able to manage Internet traffic efficiently. In this paper, we have analyzed and compared network simulator results with real campus network about the performance of multimedia traffics(video and audio traffic) that applied to existing Internet traffic and QoS traffic. Our measurement factors are transmission rate, packet loss rate and delay. According to our experimental results, the traffic that applied to QoS method is better than Best-effort traffic on previous factors.
