전통시장 상인회 조직 활성화를 위한 전략경영체계 및 실행체계수립 : B전통시장 컨설팅을 중심으로 = Designing strategic management and implementation system of the merchant association organization in a traditional market place: focused on "B" traditional market

"B traditional market" is a mid-sized traditional marketplace located in Bucheon city. Currently it seems vibrant with life and energy, and is seemingly without problems. But if you look into the market in detail, you will find circumstances surrounding the market is quite threatening. These days, SSM(Super Super Market), the modernized distribution institute, could be a threatening competitor at any time. Furthermore the government‘s 'New Town Plan" restricts the market from self modernization. These factors touch off the customers to break away from the market continuously, that leads the market to meet the critical crisis-"to be or not to be".
There must be a main group in that traditional market that is able to recognize the imminent potential problems and design the provision strategy. The group must also be able to design and execute the mid and long term development plan for this "B traditional market". The critical point is whether such competent group exists or not in this market. Unfortunately, the competency of current merchant association of this market is insufficient to carry out these tasks. They need outside experts' help to carry out these assignments. This report is about the case story which the "B traditional market" merchant association designed strategic management and implementation system with the help of the outside experts.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

B전통시장은 부천시에 위치한 중형규모의 전통시장이다. 현재 상황으로는 그런대로 활성화가 되어 있어서 별 문제가 없어 보인다. 그러나 좀 더 자세히 들여다보면 시장을 위협하는 주변 환경이 만만치 않다. 요즈음 대형 할인점등 현대화된 유통시설의 존재가 위협적이다. 거기다 정부의 뉴타운 계획등으로 자체 현대화 사업이 어렵게 되어 있다. 지속적인 고객 이탈로 자칫 얼마 못가 존폐의 위기가 닥칠 수 있다.
이렇게 조만간 현실화될 잠재적인 문제점들을 미리 인지하고 대비책을 세우며 나아가 시장 전체의 공동 번영과 발전을 위하여 전략을 수립하고 실행에 옮길 주체가 B전통시장에 존재하느냐가 문제이다. 현재의 시장 상인회로서는 조직과 역량 모두 역부족이다. 시장 상인회가 이러한 역할을 할 수 있으려면 외부 전문가의 도움이 필요하다. 본 보고서는 B전통시장 상인회가 외부 전문가의 도움을 받아 B전통시장의 중·장기적 번영과 발전을 위해 전략체계를 수립하고 이의 실행을 위한 실행체계를 수립한 사례를 제시하고 있다.
