Travel insurance, which can be compensated tourists for losses occurred during traveling from beginning to end, makes a great contribution to travel Travel insurance has features as short duration, popularity and composite insurance, while it has technical., economical, social and managerial limit.
In travel insurances of Korea, there are some kinds such as insurance fur trip abroad, domestic trip, entrainment, reserving security insurance for trip abroad, insurance for traveler's check and other travel mutual-aid associations, but all the travel insurances do not fulfill their own functions because of Korean people's lack of knowledge on them, indifference, insurance firm's sales disability and the government's lack of understanding on the travel insurance.
Accordingly, there are some suggestions to solve the problems mentioned above in this study as follows:
1. Interference factors and removal measures on the insurance popularity.
2. Strength and weakness of sales network, and its reorganization.
3. Inactivity of goods' improvement and reorganization of insurance packages.
4. Problems and counterplans against foreign insurance firms.
5. Problems and reorganization of travel mutual-aid associations.
6. Problems and improvement of insurance policy system.
In conclusion, the travel insurance will fulfill its function as one of the social security systems if traveler's recognition on the travel insurance, harmonious marketing achievement by insurance firms and reformation of the insurance policy by the government are simultaneously in harmony with one another
