대통령 유엔총회 기조연설문 평화레토릭 비교분석- 박근혜 대통령과 문재인 대통령 연설을 중심으로 - = Comparative Analysi of Peace Rhetoric in UN Keynote Spech - President Park Geun-hye and Mon Jae-in -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study conducted the comparative analysis on the peace rhetoric in President Park Geun-hye's 70th keynote speech (2015) and President Moon Jae-in's 72nd keynote sppech (2017) in UN General Assembly. The aim of the study is to analyze what kind of peace the two presidents seek to deliver in their speeches and how they build the role of the South Korea as a nation and the role of a leader as a country. As research questions therefore, 'What are the strategic differences between the peace rhetoric manifested through the word frequency and connectivity of the two speeches?' and 'What is the difference in the role of the subjects in the two speeches?' Cluster criticism using TEXTOM and role criticism through i-statement and verb form analysis were conducted. In conclusion, the peace presented by President Park Geun-hye's peace rhetoric is that peace is a task of the international community, and the Republic of Korea has shown as a role to cooperate and make effort as a mediator. On the other hand, peace shown in the President Moon Jae-in was emphasizing the role of the new government and leadear in South Korea to lead and solve the task of peace as a key player. The peace rhetoric proposed by the South Korea has played an important role in shaping the vision and values for peace in the international community, and such study to understand the role and process of the creation of the peace values of South Korea is critical.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 2015년 박근혜 대통령의 70차 UN총회 기조연설문과 2017년 문재인 대통령의 72차 기조연설문을 통해 각 대통령이 구축한 평화 레토릭의 구성요소와 연설문에 투영된 국제사회에서의 대한민국의 역할과 수사적 리더십을 비교 분석했다. 연구 방법으로는 데이터 분석 소프트웨어인 텍스톰(TEXTOM)을 활용한 단어 네트워크와 클러스터 비평, 자아지칭 단어의 사용과 동사 형태 분석 등 단어비평(lexicon analysis)과 역할비평 등의 수사비평 방법론이 적용되었다. 분석 결과, 박근혜 대통령의 평화레토릭은 국제사회로의 확장성을 통한 해결을 지향하는 모습을 보인 반면 문재인 대통령의 평화레토릭은 대한민국 주도의 남북협력을 중심으로 구성된 특징을 보였다. 박근혜 대통령의 연설문에서 대한민국은 글로벌 사회의 중재자로서 노력과 협력의 주체로 그려지고 있었던 데 비해 문재인 대통령의 평화레토릭에서 나타난 평화는 새 리더를 맞은 새 정부의 주도적인 과제로서 강조되고 있었다. 대한민국이 제시하는 평화레토릭은 국제사회에 평화에 대한 한반도의 비전과 가치관을 전파하는 역할을 하고 있으며, 이에 대한 분석은 대한민국의 평화가치관이 만들어져 가는 과정을 이해하고 국제사회에서의 평화과제에 있어서 대한민국의 위치와 역할을 이해하는데 의의가 있다.
