다중지능이론에 기초한 유아 미술교육프로그램의 효과 = A Study on the Effects of the Art Education Program based on Multi Intelligence Theory on Young Children

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated the effects of the art education program based on multi intelligence theory on young children's pictorial intelligence, representative ability and self-esteem. The subjects used in this study were 45 children who attended a kindergarten. Their mean age was 69.4 months old. Subjects were randomly assigned to a control group and an experimental group. It used Pictorial Test of Intelligence-Second Edition, Art Representation Ability Test and PSPC Children's Self-Esteem Test in collection of data. The significant effects of the art education programs for young children were analyzed and t-test was used to analyze the data. The results of the current study indicate that there were significant differences between the control and experimental group. The scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than the control group in Pictorial Test of Intelligence, Art Representation Ability Test and PSPC Children's Self-Esteem Test. Overall, the art education program based on multi intelligence theory was effective for promoting young children's intelligence, art representation ability and self-esteem. Implications of these findings are discussed in this study.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 다중지능이론에 기초한 미술교육프로그램이 유아의 그림지능, 그림 표상능력 그리고 자아존중감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석함으로써 보다 효과적인 미술교수 학습 방안 모색을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 만 5세 유아 45명을 대상으로 4주간의 실험처치를 실시한 결과, 다중지능이론에 기초한 미술교육 프로그램을 실시한 실험집단이 교사 주도 이야기나누기에 기초한 미술교육프로그램을 실시한 통제집단 보다 그림지능, 그림 표상능력 그리고 자아존중감 점수가 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 따라서 다중지능이론에 기초한 유아 미술교육프로그램은 유아의 지적능력과 표상능력 그리고 자아존중감을 증진시켜 주기 위한 효과적인 접근법으로서 실제 유아교육 현장에서의 활용이 기대된다.
