The purpose of this research was to uncover the relative impact of children's temperament, mothers' characteristics, and parents' child-rearing agreement on mother's parenting stress. Subjects of this study were
mothers of 293 preschoolers, being aged 3 to 5 years old from five kindergartens placed in Ahn-yang city and Em-sung gun, Chungbuk. Data were analyzed with Pearson's correlation and heirarchical Regression by using SPSS program. The results showed that children's emotional sensitivity and mother's neuroticism had a positive impact on mother's parenting stress and mother's extroversion had a negative impact on mother's parenting stress. Moreover, couple's child-rearing agreement showed a negative influence on mother's parenting stress.
