동북아시대의 국제 물류센터로서의 한국의 역할 = A Role of Korea as an International Physical Distribution Center in the Northeast Asia

국문 초록 (Abstract)

21세기에 동북아시대에는 중국과 일본 그리고 우리나라가 한판 승부를 벌여 저마다의 경제적 풍요를 쟁취하기 위한 경제전쟁을 할 것이 예상된다.
이 때 중국은 대중화경제권을 형성하려 할 것이고 일본은 엔화경제권을 결성하려 하면서 두 경제권의 싸움이 치열할 것이라는 점이 예상되기고 한다. 이 틈바구니에서 우리나라의 역할은 어떠해야 하는가가 우리에게 닥쳐 올 과제이다. 적어도 물류부문의 국제화를 꽤해 동북아 물류센터를 우리나라에 구축하자는 것이다. 그 이후에 지역을 동북아시아에 국한하지 않고 세계로 확대하기만 하면 세계의 물류센터로서의 역할을 할 수 있으리라는 생각이다.
이를 위해 먼저 우리나라에 국제물류센터를 설치해야 하는 필요성과 경제적 효과에 관하여 고찰하고 세계화가 진전됨에 따라 물류관리의 국제화가 요구되며 국제경쟁력의 강화를 위해 물 류비 절감이 필요하며 21세기를 주도하기 위해서 국제물류센터를 우리나라에 설립해야 한다는 것이다.
이에 따라 국제물류센터 구축의 전략은 정부의 확고한 정책의지, 지정학적 장점의 최대한 활용, 제도의 보완과 개선, 종합물류정보망구축 및 남북한 협력방안 등을 모색하여야 한다.
이러한 노력이 결실로 나타나면 우리나라는 명실공히 동북아시아 나아가서는 세계의 국제물류센터로서의 우뚝 서는 위업을 달성할 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In the so-called 21st century Northeast Asian period, China, Japan and Korea are expected to compete with each other to win economic initiative. While China may try to form "a big Chinese economic bloc" and Japan may try to organize "a Yen economic bloc", a fierce battle between the two economic blocs is anticipated.
The task of our country is to figure out what the role of our country is like in this kind of situation. It is needed to construct a fully internationalized Northeast Asian physical distribution center in our country.The area to be covered by the center is not just confined to Northeast Asia. If it should be expanded, it will serve as a world physical distribution center.
The necessity to establish an international physical distribution center in our country and its economical effects are investigated. Globalization requires the internationalization of physical distribution administration and distribution cost curtailment for enhancing international competitiveness.
Accordingly, some basic strategies for constructing an international physical distribution center should be investigated along with governmen's willingness, our favorable geopolitics, the extension of tariff free areas, comprehensive physical distribution information network construction, systematic planning, and South and North Korean cooperation etc.
With these strategies and efforts, our country may achieve great undertaking that hold as high as a world international physical distribution center.
