금관가야 유물의 조형적특성을 응용한 장신구 디자인 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대사회는 다양한 디자인들이 개발되며 사람들의 브랜드의 선호도가 높아지고 그 복제품도 무수히 쏟아져 나오고 있다. 그러므로 한국인의 정서가 담긴 우리 고유의 아름다운 전통을 활용하여 창의적이고 독창정인 새로운 장신구시대를 열어 나가야한다. 본 연구는 가야시대를 널리 알리기 위해 금관가야 유물의 조형적 특성을 응용하여 장신구 디자인을 개발하고자 하였다.
본 연구의 이론적 배경으로 금관가야에 대한 역사적 고찰, 유물의 종류와 특성에 대하여 조사해보았다. 조사한 자료를 통해 유물을 종류별로 나누어 비교 분석하였다. 유물의 도안화와 재구성을 통해 그 의미와 함께 우리 전통적 아름다움이 있는 장신구를 제작하고자 하였다. 장신구를 디자인하는 과정에서 미적인면으로 돋보일 수 있는 형태가 어떤 것인지 파악하고 다각도로 분석하여 아이디어 전개를 진행하였다. 금관가야유물의 조형적 특성을 이용하여 개발한 디자인의 우수함을 현시대의 사람들이 느낄 수 있도록 하는것에 그 중점을 두고 진행하였다. 유물의 형태와 우리 전통 문양을 현대 감각에 부합될 수 있도록 미적인 면과 실용적인 면을 고려하여 디자인해 나가는 방법으로 작품 디자인을 제시하였다. 제작 과정을 통해 가야사람들의 문화에 대한 전통적 가치의 의미를 확인하고 문화 계승을 목적으로 장신구를 새롭게 디자인하고 제작해 봄으로써 다음과 같은 의의와 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 금관가야의 역사와 유물들을 살펴봄으로써 금관가야유물의 아름다움의 계승 발전 가능성을 확인하였다. 그것은 조상들의 미적감각과 생활과 지혜와 여유를 각박한 현대 사회에 재현하고자 함에 있다. 따라서 단순한 장신구가 아닌 금관가야를 알리려는 기능을 살려 현대 사회에 실용적으로 쓰일 수 있도록 디자인을 고려하게 되었고 형태학적인 만족을 느낄 수 있는 적절한 디자인으로 전통문화를 소재로 충분히 아름다움이 표현 가능하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
전통과 현대를 아우르는 변화하는 현대적 감각에 맞추어 다른 사람과는 다른 자기표현을 할 수 있는 개성 있는 장신구 디자인을 제시할 수 있었다. 다양한 의미를 지니고 있으면서 미적으로도 뒤떨어지지 않은 우리 금관가야를 다시 한 번 일깨워 재인식하고 앞으로도 많은 개발을 할 수 있는 계기를 만들어 보고자 하였으며 금관가야에 대한 끊임없는 노력과 활발한 연구의 무한한 발전을 기대해본다.

<Abstract>
A variety of designs are developed in modern society, and the preference for famous brands gets higher, and their duplicates are pouring down. So we should open the era of new, creative and original accessories by using beautiful tradition of our own contained Korean feeling. This researcher intended to develope accessory design to publish the age of Kaya by appling the formative characteristic of Geumgwankaya. The survey of historical consideration on Geumgwankaya, and the species and characteristic of the relics was done for its theoretical background. Then sorted , compared and analyzed in species. And tried to make accessaries holding our traditional beauty and the meaning of the relics by reconstructing and making design of them. This researcher went on unfolding the ideas , after catching what shape could look better in aspect of beauty and analyzing it in the point of varied angle. The prgress was made with pointing up the fact that contemporaries can feel the superiority of the developed design used the formative characteristic of the relics of Geumgwankaya. Presented the work design with the method considered practical and aesthetic aspect being able to fit the form of the relics and our traditional patterns to modern sense. In the process, the meaning and conclusion was drew as follows, after the meaning and traditional value of Kayan culture was verified, and after the accessories were newly designed and made. The possibility of inheritance and development of the beauty of them was verified by observing the history and the relic of Geumgwankaya. And also intended to revive the aesthetic sense, life, wisdom and of ancestors in the tough modern society. Thus the researcher became to think the design in mind, not as only accessories, which can practically be used in modern society with giving vividness of faculty to blow open Geumgwankaya, and came to know it is possible enough to express beauty with traditional culture by proper design to give morphological satisfaction. It was available to present picturesque accessary design fitting to modern sense with tradition and today and being able to give expression different from others'. This researcher tried to make a momentum which gives us a new understanding and awareness our Geumgwankaya having diverse meaning but not being behind in beauty again, and to look forward to continuous effort on Geumgwankaya and endless development of active studies.
