Workshop on Organizational Culture Change
: A Case of Company 'P'
<Abstract>
The purpose of this study is to identify the value of the sustainable consulting and education programs coupled with the effects of organizational diagnosis-based consulting. Reviewing many literatures for the building of theoretical framework, research model and experiential hypotheses were established.
The pre-and post-survey to find out the causality between the consulting education based on a organizational diagnosis and the managerial performances of each departments of a company 'P' were implemented.
The findings of the study are as follows. First, the results of pre-survey show high competency quality in all organizational diagnosing variables except reward. A between group analysis shows a statistically significant differences in terms of organizational goal, while no other organizational diagnosis variables show significant difference between departments.
Second, through the post-survey, a significant difference between the organizational diagnosis and competency evaluation among the groups were found.
Third, the results of pre-survey indicate that most of the organizational diagnosing variables except the organizational goal have a significant effect on the organizational effectiveness and the job satisfaction; however, understanding of the organizational goal and participation for them does not.
Forth, the analysis of post-survey show that the effects of the independent variables on the dependent variables were significant in all the organizational diagnosing variables.
Fifth, the results of pre-survey indicate that most of the organizational diagnosing variables such as reward, leadership, support system, and change-orientation have a significant influence on the organizational efficiency. According to the post-survey, the support system, the organizational structure, and the human relationship influence to the job satisfaction.
Finally, the comparison between the pre- and post-survey shows a significant difference in the organizational diagnosing variables suggesting the consulting education is effective.
This study would make some contributions to the knowledge about the causal relationships between the independent variables and its dependent variables in the organizational diagnosis. It is expected that the results of this study could be a basic model for enhancing management performances and facilitating organizational changes through a organizational diagnosis.
