The Purpose of this study is to identify the effect of empowerment on the job satisfaction and turnover-intent of deluex hotel employees in seoul. The model was tested using SPSS 16.0 and Amos 8.0 based on a sample of 400. There are four-dimensional factor structure(meaningfulness, competence, self-choice, Influence) for empowermen and three-dimensional factor structure(work itself, coworkers relations, senior jobs) in hotel. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the hypothesized relationship in the model were tested simultaneously by using structural equation model(SEM). The proposde model provided an adequate fit to the data, X2=872.763 (df=425, p=.045), GFI=0.989, AGFI=0.923, RMR= 0.017, NFI=0.931, CFI=0.990, RMSEA= 0.050. Second, most of four dimension of empowerment have a significant effect on the three factors of job satisfaction except meaningfulness to coworkers(Job satisfaction), competence to coworkers relations, senior jobs(Job satisfaction) and Influence to senior jobs(Job satisfaction).
