다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to examine the impact on academic achievement by measuring the degree of learning belief among the defining factors of foreign students as Korean language learners. In addition, we would like to examine in detail the individual variables related to the level of learning beliefs and academic achievement. Using the (Beliefs About Language Learning Inventory, (BALLI) scale proposed by Horwitz [1], questionnaires were collected from 52 male and female international students. BALLI consisted of a total of 34 questions, and the revised and supplemented questionnaire, including personal variables, was reconstructed to suit the purpose of the study. In order to accurately analyze the data collected in this study, the SPSS 25.0 program was used. This study aims to develop discussions based on the analysis results of the set research questions and to present educational plans for them. The results of this study showed that foreign language aptitude was higher than other areas as follows. It can be seen that one of the sub-factors that affect academic achievement is the nature of language learning. It had a great impact on Korean language achievement, and among individual variables, the country of origin and residence period are factors that affect academic achievement. Therefore, it is necessary to find an effective Korean language education method that reflects these variables and considers various countries of origin and residence period.

본 연구는 한국어 학습자로서 외국인 유학생의 정의적 요인들 중 학습 신념 정도를 측정해서, 그것이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 더불어, 학습 신념 정도, 학업 성취도와 관련 있는 개인 변인에 대해서도 구체적으로 알아보고자한다. [1]이 제안한 (Beliefs About Language Learning Inventory, BALLI) 척도를 사용해서, 남녀 외국인 유학생 52명을 대상으로 설문지를 수집했다. BALLI는 총 34문항으로 구성되었고, 개인적 변인을 포함하여 수정·보완한 설문지를 연구 목적에 맞게 재구성했다. 본 연구에서 수집한 자료를 정확한 분석을 하기 위해서 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 사용했다. 본고는 설정한 연구 질문에 대한 분석 결과를 토대로 논의를 전개하고, 이에 대한 교육 방안에 대해 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같이 외국어 적성이 다른 영역에 비해 높게 나타났다. 학업 성취도에 영향을 미치는 하위 요인 중의 하나는 언어학습 본질임을 알 수 있다. 그것은 한국어 성취도에 큰 영향을 미쳤고, 개별 변수 중에서 출신국과 거주 기간이 학업 성취도에 영향을 미치는 요인이다. 이러한 변인을 반영한 다양한 출신국가와 거주 기간을 고려한 효과적인 한국어 교육 방법을 모색할 필요가 있다.
