The ionization produced from NaCl vapour interacting with a heated Pt nozzle over range of 300 to 700℃ has been investigated.
The formation of ions in NaCl vapour emitted from heated Pt nozzle due to surface ionization phenomena agree with the theory of Saha-Langmuir's and agree with 2 dimensional gas model produced in this paper.
In this research, Na and Cl ions formed by the phenomena were verified by magnetic deflection methold.
And from the result of irradiating LASER beam into NaCl molecularbeam, the existence of excited state of NaCl molecule confirmed.
