[技術硏究]트랜잭션 성질과 이단계 록킹

국문 초록 (Abstract)

트랜잭션들이 동시에 수행되거나 트랜잭션 처리중에 고장이 발생하는 경우에, 일관성 있는 검색, 일관성 없는 갱신, 갱신의 상실 등이 일어날 수 있다. 이러한 이상 현상들을 방지하기 위해서는 트랜잭션의 원자성, 내구성, 직렬화 그리고 분리성 등의 성질을 만족하야 한다.<br/>
본 고에서는 이러한 성질들을 유기적 관계를 정형적 표현을 통하여 명확히 보여 주었다. 또한, 트랜잭션의 성질들을 지원하기 위해 현재 널리 이용되고 있는 이단계 록킹 방법의 장단점을 살펴 보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

When the transactions are executed concurrently or the failure occurs during the transactions processing, inconsistent retrieval, inconsistent update, and lost update can occur. These anomalies can be prevented if atomicity durability, seriabilizability, and isolation of transactions are satisfied.<br/>
In this paper, we show clearly the organic relationship among the transaction's properties in formal notations. And we examine the robustness and limitation of the two-phase locking method which is almost used currently to support the transaction's properties.
