      The purpose of research in this paper is to achieve adequate distribution of water in the plan of utilizing groundwater for irrigation by selecting important factors that greatly influences water-balance of groundwater in irrigated area and researching into mutual relations among those factors.
      Even though there have been many researches on the whole water-balance, there are still few researches on it within the area of an alluvial layer.
      Therefore, it is necessary to reveal the water-balance of ground-water in an alluvial layer by means of analizing into each factor of water-balance.
      As the method of research, 1 applied my own newly adjusted formula with the selected factors that are liable to influence the water-balance of the area in these researches through examining the water-balance formula in common area and that of irrigated area.
      The factors that influences water-balance are as follows :precipitation, evaporation, the amount of ground water reservoir, and so on. The amounts of precipitation from 1985 to 1987 were quoted from the date in Ichon's auxiliary Station of Meteorological Observatory, the amounts of evapotranspitation were calculated with that of the surface of paddy leaf for the research area belonging to paddy fields. And to measure the amount of groundwater reservoir, 7 wells were selected ailed at each well once a week ground water level, depth of well, temperature of water, and PH. were measured.
      The Results of analizing this research ale as follows:
      a) The actual storage amounts of outflow in irrigated area is 397mm when marked by water column, and it is equal to 19 percent of the whole amounts of outflow in the area.
      b) It turned out that ground-water is more important water resources than precipitation in industry within the research area.
      c) The storage of groundwater from precipitation and inflow did not flow out to other area and was mostly utilized in irrigation.
      It comes to the conclusion that when the said my newly adjusted formula based on water-balance formula by Siline-Bekcourine for all factors in the research paddy area, goundwater has significant utility as agricultural water resources in irrigated area containing an alluvial aquifer. Therefore, if there is an alluvial aquifer within any irrigated area in our country, Korea, in analizing any water-balance, I dare say that it may be available to apply the water-balance formula induced from this research.
