아동이 지각한 부모의 공감과 학교적응 간의 관계에서 회복탄력성의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effects of Resilience in the Relationship between Parental Empathy and School Adjustment Perceived by Elementary School Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 초등학생이 지각한 부모의 공감소통과 개인 내적 변인인 회복탄력성이 학교적응에 미치는 직·간접적인 영향과 각 변인들 간의 구조적관계를 살펴보고자 시도되었으며, 구체적으로는 학교적응에 영향력이 있는 변인을 파악함으로써 학교 현장이나 상담 장면, 부모교육에서의 효과적인 개입을 위한 정보를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 경상남도에 소재한 4개 초등학교의 4, 5, 6학년 학생 454명이 연구에 참여하였으며 수집된 자료는 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 활용하여 확인적 요인 분석과 변인들과의 구조적 관계를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 부모의 공감소통은 아동의 학교적응에 직접적인 효과를 미치지 않는 것으로 파악되었다. 부모의 공감소통은 회복탄력성에 직접적인 효과가 있었으며, 회복탄력성은 아동의 학교적응에 직접적인 효과가 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 즉, 부모의 공감소통이 회복탄력성을 매개로 학교적응에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 부모 공감을 높이기 위한 방안으로 부모교육의 활성화와 부모상담 및 가족상담의 기회 확대 필요성 등이 논의되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study attempts to examine the direct or indirect influence of the parents’ empathic ability perceived by the elementary students and the resilience of the personal internal factor on the school adjustment along with the structural relation between each variable. Concretely it aims to offer the information for the effective intervention in the scenes of the school and the counseling by figuring out the influential variable on the school adjustment. The 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students at 4 elementary schools in Gyeongsangnam-do and the structural relation between the variables was identified in AMOS 18.0. According to the result of the data analysis, the parents’ empathic ability had no direct influence on the child’s school adjustment. It was found that the parents’ empathic ability had direct influence on the resilience and the resilience had direct influence on the child’s school adjustment. Thus, it revealed that the parents’ empathic ability had meaningful influence on the school adjustment with the resilience of the personal internal factor mediating. This result showed the necessity of activating the various parent education, providing opportunities of the parent counseling, and expanding the family counseling. Moreover, we discussed at the personal counseling level the alternative approach that improving the resilience of the personal internal factor enhanced the school adjustment despite lacking the parental empathy.
